An integrated system with plenty of power and sophisticated controls.
The Profile Two 300W PA System is the big brother of the popular Profile System One, with increased power and more inputs. The Profile Two is built around a 5-channel powered mixer, which pumps out 300W, 150W per channel stereo. The 8-band master EQ lets you shape the sound, and dial in lows precisely with sub frequency/subwoofer controls. Each individual channel also has 2-band (bass & treble) EQ controls. The 5 mixer channels all have balanced XLR and 1/4" combo inputs, with stereo inputs on channel 5. All channels feature monitor volume controls and stereo panning controls. An additional discrete AUX channel has stereo mic and line (1/8") inputs. A 24-bit digital processor delivers 16 effects, including Double Take Vocal, which makes one vocalist sound like 2. An effects loop allows insertion of external effects units. Each speaker cab features 2 heavy-duty 8" speakers, plus a neodymium compression driver with 1" exit. The Line Array design gives your sound enhanced projection and performance that reaches deep into the audience.

40+ years rockin' and folk rockin' with some of the best in the Rockies. Played upon, plugged in and sang through bout' every brand there is. Understand electronics. No wizard, but been around long enough to know quality from junk Been looking for and testing every small PA possible to lighten the load for smaller folk-rock venues. Am one to look at, try, read about, interview and cost compare for a year to make up my mind. Ran across the Kustom Profile II by accident and immediately bought it. Top quality. Extremely (300 watts) powerful for light size. Features are amazingly endless and good quality, especially effects and "double take" which makes one voice sound like two. Can record well right out of mixer. 5th channel set up for direct acoustic-electric line that sounds better than my good Ibanez TA35. Our strong harmony vocals have not sounded better. Speakers are very good. Too new to give a track record on how it handles abuse or holds up, but it appears solid. I lucked out and got a close-out and am still laughing. I'd give it all 10's, but lowered the value rating to 8 for the rather high regular tag. Don't let the size fool you. This little "David" can knock the "Goliath" out of your ears.

Worked great the first three or four times we used it, then the next time, the amp went intermittent. Worked when we set it up then at some point, no sound. I took it apart, resoldered a couple of connections. Seemed to be working. Now a tweeter is blown. I don't think it was driven that hard really for a tweeter to be blown. In total, we used it around 8 times and it is busted again.

Ifirst used the Profile Two at a political rally on a moments notice, it was easy to set uo and monitor. Those that used the mike , were very impressed at the clear sound and audible range.A VERY GOOD UNIT!!

Have used outside on occasions for acoustic duo and also for whole band practice indoors. Keeps up and is loud enough in a small practice room to cover bass, drums and guitar. So far no issues, I do run a small fan behind the unit because I am paranoid it will overheat. Sound is a lot clearer than I would have expected even at higher volumes.

I'll get down straight to the point, this is a great pa EVEN for a small band, I've had this thing for a few weeks and still amazed by the sound quality. this pa is also very easy to operate as well, the only thing I don't like is that you can't use the different built in effects for different channels, so basically you turn the effects nob to the effect you want and that applies the effect to all channels and you can either turn the effect all the down (aka "off") or turn up to the amount of the effect that you want in each channel, and thats the only reason i gave it a 4 even thought it should be a 4 1/2. Overall this is a great PA, IT'S LOUD, it's clear!, and it's a Kustom! at a price that can't be beat! so I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Have not had it very long but it does sound nice for the price. I also own the Profile 1. It was shipped quickly. The speakers are 4 ohms and the amp was designed to work best with those speakers. Nice features for the money. Don't know about reliability yet. It is lightweight but naturally somewhat larger and heavier that phe Profile 1.

I bought my first Kustom Profile PA at [@] as a floor demo. I believe I paid about $500 including cases and speaker stands. I couldn't believe such a small PA sounded so good and was light enough for me (a small woman) to carry. It had the 7 band eq, which other PAs at this price do not have. It gives me more control over the sound. I do wish it had 3 band eq per channel, but I can get a good, clear vocal and keys sound in spite of that. I also can run a small Kustom 10" monitor if nec. but this PA does not feed back so I can run the speakers beside me or slightly behind me with no feedback and that is usually monitor enough for small venues anyway. It is still going strong and I have used it for over 6 years. I did drop a speaker once and had to have wire resottered inside, but can't expect that not to happen if you drop one. When I saw this on Musician's Friend on sale for [$], I couldn't believe it and ordered anopther one right away because they had not been available for about 3 years. It did not come with the cases or speaker stands this time, but at that price, no complaints. I will order them separately and still save a bunch. Now I have a spare or can use one for performances and one at home for rehearsal. Great product, especially for this sale price.

Worked well for about an hour and a half, after which the sound skipped around like a scratched cd player. Changed media source, no fix. Changed power supply, no fix. Called manf and they told me it is probably overheating, and told me to put a fan behind the unit. For a brand new system, that's just not gonna work. Exchanging it tomorrow for a different manf/system.
