I've used my Q40's on almost every session I've done in the pst 2 years. They sound great, fit snuggly, are honest, and durable (i travel with them, too.).
If anything, I'd say they are a little too pricey, although I think they are worth it. If they were cheaper, I'd buy another pair.
I produce beats, and record rock and hip hop, and these are perfect for me.

Well... these worked great while they lasted. I used these headphones for about a couple years, and they sounded great with a bit of a bass boost. I used these for recording and mixing, and having them being collapsable was also a convenient feature. However, my ears would start to ache after longer periods of use, and for some reason they became right-side-biased; the left speaker gave out and lost volume, so I could no longer mix with these. I tried using a different cable to see if that was the issue, but my headphones remained unbalanced. Loved these while they worked, but they didn't last for me. Very sad and disappointed with these headphones.

I have had these for a few months now, and there are a number of things I dislike. First, they are EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and after wearing them for about 15 min, my ears start to hurt like crazy from them. Second, the sound quality is not great at all. I have heard better from $15 headphones. They are also quite bulky, and I don't like how you have to screw the jack into the headphones, and the adapter it comes with...It gets the wire all tangled and twisted. I would stay away form these and look into something else.

I went from the audiotechnica ATH M20 headphones to these and I can hear and feel a huge difference in quality. These m-audio headphones have a much better bass response. They sound like those headphones you use when you go to HMV and listen to their sample cds. And they are less expensive than some of the other headphones that are around the same quality.
