Im not sure why this product has received such low ratings, but it does what it's supposed to do. I use it with my Oktava MK319 and it fits well. I ordered it as a replacement for my original shock mount (brand unknown), because it was held together with rubber cords that dried out and broke. This mount has nylon cords which are far less likely to snap. Overall, it's a simple mount of sturdy construction and is also generally less expensive than its alternatives.

It functions OK, except, as a previous reviewer said, the connections that keep it in place are poor. It wouldn't stay level, so I tried tightening the thumb screw even more, at which point it stripped. I've got another bolt in there, but it has to be extremely tight to hold in place. I'll probably have to go back and put a sprocket washer in there. But other than that, it holds the mike fine.

Comments about Musician's Gear MY410 Studio Microphone Shockmount:

I haven't used many other shockmounts, but this one only seems adequate. The wing nut doesnt lock very tight, so its hard to get the mic at the propper angle. The integrated euro thread adapter is a nice feature and it does cut down on noise nicely. Go for it if you don't have another alternative.

Comments about Musician's Gear MY410 Studio Microphone Shockmount:

I use this product for my microphone in my gaming area/setup, works fantastic and out of the way. One thing that would be nice, is if the padding on the inside wasn't just glued on, scared me a couple times when it started peeling on the edge. No biggie though.

Just OK. The collar or spring used to hold the mic is limited in what it can hold.

Comments about Musician's Gear MY410 Studio Microphone Shockmount:

I bought a boutique LDC microphone last year and was not satisfied with the mount that was provided. I did my research and checked out several different brands of shock mounts. I found this mount in use in a studio in my town and was impressed with how sturdy it was. I was even more impressed with the price and ordered this mount on the spot. When it arrived it was a perfect fit and it provides great isolation.
