Read the BAD Reviews after I got home before I tried it out and was worried. Pluggedit into my ErnieBall MusicMan LUKE guitar, worked like a champ. Had it in my music room upstairs, walked down the stairs (not in line of sight of the reciever at all) and all over the house and it never cut out once. It is plastic and a little cheap in terms of durability, but for $39 bucks I am very happy with my purcahse and will keep it.Only used it 5 minutes, and the horror stories seem to happen after several weeks of use, so far so good, so what!! Foe $39 it is a steal! If it was $7o I wouldn't have bought it, just saw it and it was too good of a deal to at least try, and now that it works as intended. I am sold! If I was gigging, I would pay to get something better, but for the average clown it will work fine!Good Luck Guys!

If you want a good wireless, dont get this one. I ordered mine and it CAME BROKEN... I opened it up and the antena fell off, and not 1 hour after i had gotten it hooked it up the body pack fell apart. This is by far the worst piece of trash I have ever owned, I never even got to use it live because it was broken when I got it. Seriously if you want a good wireless get Shure The Guitarist UHF system, sure they are a little more expensive, but worth every penny, I used one of my friends before, and plan on ordering myself one really soon. Seriously, don't waste your time with this, and risk getting yours in the condition I did, I dont trust Nady for anything anymore... I wouldnt even trust them to shine my shoes because I might end up with no shoes on my feet. bunch of shisters who dont know how to make good equipment is all they are.

Works!

By Gman-akz_r

I've used this thing on a few gigs now and have had no problems. My bass player also uses one. I've done an A/B test against my amp with a cable and I hear no difference in the sound quality. So far so good!

Cheap cheap cheap...

By KG-63dP4

from MS

This thing is just horrible. Of course it's made of cheap plastic and just feels like it will break if you look at it hard enough. The front "display" is actually just a sticker, which came off of mine the first week, leaving a sticky mess and a bunch of meaningless LED lights showing on the front. The signal is decent, but don't plan on straying too far from the receiver unless you want to hear a lot of crackling and hissing. Move on people...spend a few more dollars and get something you can use for years to come.

BAD

By Name Here

I have had nothing but problems with this product. The cable needed to be resoldered, and now that i fixed it, all i get is a big humming sounds on all the settings, even with the volume turned down. Don't waste your money.

not what I expected from Nady...

By raybeez

from middle a nowhere, Arizona

Bought this product just over a year ago. It worked o.k., up until a few weeks ago. Then it started eating 9 volts like Homer Simpson eats donuts. I have nothing plugged into the transmitter, and it still eats batteries. It did not do this up until a few weeks ago. I called NADY, and they were useless. They told me the warranty was only good for 1 year...I thought it was 3 years on wireless stuff. Of course their product started screwing up about a month past their year warranty. The sad part is that I only use it on Sunday night during church, so it's not like I abused the product. On the bright side, it is easy to use and handy to have. And it was pretty cheap...so I guess you get what you pay for. I just wish that what I paid for lasted more than 13 months.

Don't be fooled!!

By Reddog--.Bl8

from Richmond, VA

I bought the Nady 1002 MK2 wireless system in December 2004. The cable to the guitar has a resistor soldered on the "hot" connection. It constantly breaks. I repaired it three times myself. Then carried the unit around in my gig bag for over a year because I could't use it. Just found out it has a three year warranty. I called Nady, they said I could order a new cable from them for $9.95 and $10.00 shipping, or I could try fixing it myself, so much for Nady customer service. I packed the whole thing up and sent it back to the Nady CEO and told them they could keep it. Get a GOOD unit and spend the extra cash for it, don't be fooled by the low price here. It's not worth the headache.

Hey, works for me

I put this thing together and walked all over the house, from room to room with no cut outs, static or unwanted noise. I haven't had it long, but so far, so good.

I bought one of these about 2 years ago. The battery pack was horrible, the signal was disrupted constantly even if I was standing 5 feet in front of my rig. When I actually DID get a signal, it sounded muddy and distorted.Sure, this wireless system is really cheap, but there's a reason for it. Consider buying a better system if you are in the market.

Strange noise

By JC-X3neK

from Muskegon, MI

Purchased two of them for my children to use in Jazz Band, it appeared that one of them had already been returned as the instruction manual was a copy not the original. After a roll of electrical tape to hold the battery compartment closed I finally had and opportunity to use them. Both of them make strange unexpected noise when in use.
