Let me start off by saying When I received these in the mail they were NOTHING like was pictured. I got them out the mailing package and was like what are are these? I thought they made a shipping mistake but they were the correct model. The ear cups dont really swivel and there not really comfy around the neck. As far as cosmetics these things look hideous like there made in the 80s and look just as unappealing when on my head. As far as performance they seem to get the job done. For being Im surprised they can handle the power coming out of my headphone amp, but I feel any more and they would probably blow, so they might last if you dont over do it. The cable is detachable but the coiled cord is EXTREMELY short.Luckily I have a different one to use with these. Build quality its hard to say they have a metal band underneath the plastic headband and the ear cups hold up but as long as you baby these things and be extremely careful you might be ok only time will tell. Sound quality is really great and there comfortable and the cord detaches which in my book makes em good. They dont fold completely either. If I could i would have sent them back saved my cash and bought something better. Good for listening to a ipod or even djing with but Im kinda a vain gear junky so its on you about getting these.

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

These are very good headphones!! Very comfortable! If the speakers died, I would keep them as earmuffs! I've had them for over a year now, and they still sound just as good as they did when I first got them! Both of the extension areas have broken, but a little bit of epoxy glue and they are good to go again! and for the price, even a little bit of work because of flimsy material is worth it!

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

These headphones are very compatible and can compete with the best dj headphones out there. They are strictly made for mixers and studio related equipment. "Do not - I repeat do not" purchase these headphones to plug to a computer. These headphones will not sound right with a computer or any other smaller digital walkman like MP3 player's. Note the impedance is 60 ohm, so it needs alot more volume (more like a studio type) in order to sound there best. Those that favor only "1-star *" did not probably do there homework with these headphones. Remember they are only made to DJ or for Studio work. Headphones are made differently and for different applications and these are definitly for Dj's. Before purchasing remember my review!

Totally the best dj headphones vs. price.

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

I thought I seen it all with headphones ranging from cheap to too expensive. But when you purchase a pair of dj headphones that sounds like you bought into a pair of professional studio headphones with "total noise isolation", well you might just loose yourself in the music! Let me just break it down like this. The quality, material and built are of exceptional quality including total folding capability, coiled cable and locking 1/4 adapter. The 54mm speakers bring natural lows, life like mids, and oh so ever brilliant highs. And finally, did anybody realize the price? All I have to say is? NADY has done it again! Dare to compare!

Excellent Pair for DJing, Monitoring, Anything

By Austin-Vbyxm

from IN

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

The first thing that strikes you about this pair of phones is appearance. It's a sleek black and metallic, with amazing flexibility in the earcups. They not only fold up but also rotate 90 degrees, which is amazing and really useful. The composition of the exterior is plastic, faux leather, and a little bit of rubber trim in just the right places. It's really well aesthetically designed and will be sure to be noticed by others.Sound quality wise, stereo field panning is exceptional. Note, there's a cleverly blended switch on the left earcup which you can use to switch between stereo and mono modes. Bass is terrific, and unlike some other users I did not find it lacking at all. Audio is crisp and clear for rock, hip-hop, folk, and even acoustic tracks. Additionally, its important to know that it comes with a coiled cable (I know some dislike this) with a 1/8" connection. There's an included screw-on 1/4" adapter which is much better than most adapters that ship with headphones. The bottom line? BUY IT.coiled cable, is 1/8 but has adapter

it is better to spend a little more money

By maxwell-HlVvl

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

the Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones, seems to be a good quality material, looks really nice, but they are too poor in sound, even if you have a powerfull equipment, this headphones, are going to give you low sound, so I would like to say that it is better to spend a little more money for a better quality.

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

I'm pretty happy with these headphones. I know that there are some out there that are better, but for the price these can't be beat. Both the low and high ends are superb. They're also extremely comfortable. The only fault I can find with the cans is that the plastic seems to not be of a high quality, but it shouldn't be a deciding factor, they still hold up fine.

Great Starter Pair

By DJ Safrole

from California

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

I bought a pair of these when I got my mixer and they worked great. They fit comfortably and pumped fat bass. The best part was the price. I'm a DJ on a budget so these seemed perfect for my needs. After a month or two the left speaker broke off at the extend-able part for your head. The wires were still connected so I just taped them back together. They're my home use only headphones now. Great pair to start out with, but I'd spend a little more for a higher quality constructed pair.

Left Driver Went Out

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

I own a lot of Nady products. Everything from a couple of mics, to a power amplifier. Most of their stuff isn't too bad really. They are on par with behringer i'd say. But hey these cans are junk. After about a week of use, my left ear speaker started to distort a little. Now, i'm far from deaf, but yeah, i am just like everyone else i listen to my music a little on the loud side. But hey i bought these cans because of the price, and they are suppose to have 54MM drivers in them duh??? They felt good on my big head, adjusted nice, felt sturdy, the stereo mono switch is awsome, and they look terrific. They do however sound better then the behringer cans. But they just didn't last barely a week for even simple listening. I wouldn't if i were you...you roll the dice.

Decent Inexpensive Headphones

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

I am not a DJ... I am a singer songwriter who records on my computer... I compared these with a 100$ pair of Sony headphones and the Nady's obviously weren't in the same class... The chrome plastic is cheap and the padding on top of the headphones looks and feels like it could get torn very easily. The headphones were close to the Sony's except in the Bass frequency's. The Nady's didn't seem to handle the bass as well as the Sony's. Being how these are supposed to be DJ headphones that surprised me a little. Overall I feel decent about the headphones, they are priced decent and if you are looking for a inexpensive headpones that are decent you should check these out... I gave between 2.5 to 3.5 stars because these headphones are average quality at a little bit better price than normal.

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

Pros: Stereo or Mono option on the headphones, easy to move with the 90 degree function, I think it sounds amazing for the price except I always turn the vocals up a little bit higher before I am completely down (not a big hassle).Cons: You drop these or take them off the wrong way they will snap. My friend took them off and dropped it on a chair which is maybe a 2-3 foot drop and one side snapped. Just today my other friend took them off in a very awkward way and snapped the other side off. Use really good tape. I am buying these again.

Buyer's Remorse

By ronriley

from Undisclosed

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

I thought these looked and felt kinda cheap when I got them. I didn't really care as long as they had the sound I was looking for. Too bad for that. These phones had almost no power and the lows were just muddy and awful. I can say the best and only positive thing I can say about these phones are the isolation. They really suck to your head and tune out outside noise. It would be great if they just sounded better.

VERY Cool< but Broke!

By Rokstar

Comments about Nady DJH-2000 DJ Headphones:

Awesome headphones, DJ taste, seemed so versatile.I used them gently 2 times a week for 3 hours for 6 months and the plastic snapped on the right earphone just below the silver, actually inside the silver part. Man it makes me mad, I really loved the sound I got from these things.I thought if I bought name brand I would have better luck.Even my generic $7.00 headphones lasted a year and a half. 6 months is not good.

I bought two just because of the price and the look (a leap of faith). They suck. The lows are muddy and the highs are a little crunchy. They don't feel as sturdy as they look.Buy anything else!
