I needed a pop filter for my condenser mic. I read a lot of reviews on different filters, but my budget dictated I look at the ones priced below $30. This Nady Metal Pop Filter filled the bill. My concern was some reviews in general said the filters would not stay in place. I have had this particular filter attached to my mic stand, positioned in front of my condenser mic for two weeks and it hasn't moved at all. It is easy to attach and the neck of the filter is adjustable to position in front of just about any size mic. Mine is in front of an MXL 990 mic and it fits and performs perfect.

The flexible arm is made of a cheap plastic material and doesn't hold its position; it refuses to bend to shape and instead flops back to its previous position. Needs some kind of reinforcement to simply attach to a mic stand – which is its basic function.

This thing did exactly what I needed it to do, prevent hard S's, K's, P's and T's from popping into the mic diaphragm.
The only criticism I have is, depending on what microphone I use it with, or which stand, I may have to position it in a way where it does not stay in position properly. I had to really mess with it to stay put with some mic configurations.

Attached easily to the stand of a USB mic on a tripod table stand (had thought that it might be hard to attach) and stays firmly in place. Helps a lot with popping p's and cleans up the sound a little. Inexpensive so it's a good buy to improve the quality of my spoken voice recordings.

I used this with an Audio Technica AT2020 large diaphragm condenser mic for solo vocalists and group vocals. There were no pops and no troubles with sibilance. The highs are good and the sparkle was still present and well rounded. This product improves the ability to capture good vocals. With a mic in my price range, this was a good screen. For a more expensive mic, I guess you could allocate funds for a better one.

bought with a Nady ribbon mic and it works fine. The screen is HD metal with a good plating that is welded to the attachment. Should be good for years of use.

I got a new condenser/vocal mic a few weeks back and recorded w/o a filter and got major "p" pops. Have now used this filter to record 4 songs and haven't had any trouble.
obviously this is not for pros, but for beginners it has what you need and it's metal, so you can clean it when people with gross breath use it : )
Stays where i position it. locks-in tightly on the boom, and is metal: which agian is nice.
for the price it's the best pop filter on this site.

Yes this product could definitely be higher quality. But for the price, it's a great value. The clamp should work fine as long as you treat it well. If not it will probably strip or break. The Goose neck seems good. The filter itself is thin, so it is not 100% flat. No problem with that, just observation. I would buy again, keep in mind the price you're paying.
