I was really surprised at the quality of these phones (especially 2 sets for this price). I've had so many different types over the years that it is unreal. These are good for monitoring in a Home Studio, but don;t try singing with them in front of a good condensor, they will leak in...
I purchased a pair of these at a 2 for 1 sale to have an extra couple of sets of cans for my project/demo studio as I have several clients hiring me for various projects. I found these headphones very unconfortable to wear. I you look at the picture you will notice that the ear cups angle in toward the bottoms, and because there are no swivels to adjust the angle of the cups to the sides of the head, they fit on the head at that angle causing discomfort and a poor seal over the ears.I was also disapointed with the sound quality. The had a sort of soft, muffled sound that didn't offer much definition of detail that I have heard on other sets. They are certainly not the worst that I have heard, it's just that all the datail fails to come through. I am still debating whether to return them or keep them as a cheap set to have on hand. Mail ordering headphones without first demoing them is a sketchy thing and I still haven't found what I am looking for.
I bought these as the stupid deal of the day for cheap, without real thought to quality at first but mostly to buy them kind of for fun or as a gift, and I was actually surprised by these. I wasn't expecting very good quality but these gave me a bit more drive for using them then I thought I would. The ear padding isn't too great, although I have semi-big ears and thus I have a slight problem with long use from the slant of the headphones pushing on the ears. It doesn't even get close to covering my entire ears with the gaps from the side of my head to the padding, hence the part of it pushing against my ear. The sound quality may not be amazing, but I think these may just be good enough to be a top choice for people with little money to save for better headphones. The only other problem is that I don't expect these things to last an extended amount of time under any circumstances.
feel really cheap, although the earcups etc. are relatively comfortable, the way they are connected to the main arch of the headphones makes them VERY easy to separate, which isnt good. Sound quality is a bit below average. Save money for something better.
These headphones are not rock solid awesome but are vastly better than anything you'll find in a local discount store. These headphones can actually handle a little bit of bass without cracking up. They're comfortable but sort of sit on your head rather than conforming to the shape of your head, takes some getting used to but they are comfortable. The power handling isnt all that great but will do just find if you want to keep your hearing. These headphones are somewhat flimsy but again, far better than any junk you'll find in a discount store. The whole 90* rotation thing is completely useless. I would say the 2 for 1 deal is definantly worth it, but I personaly wouldn't pay the regular price for one pair.
With a lot of clarity, these phones give you a good sense of what your audio tracks will sound like, played back on the huge range of devices viewers can use to watch your video. They are not my first choice or recommendation for kicking back & listening to music or particularly for watching DVDs, where coloring (enhancing) the sound often improves the experience.Isolation is better than open phones, but not as good as well-fitted in-ear models (for PCs in a relatively quiet environment it can work well). The top curve of the support could be tighter, allowing Nady to use less flexible arms to connect to the right & left cans. I also prefer a more flexible cord for working with PCs -- easier to manage. But those are minor things I don't mind putting up with for the price -
