I would Have given it a perfect 10 for overall but i do wish there was more piano and organs for this bundle BUT again IT'S ONLY $100 and you wont be able to use every sound in a month.....the only thing i would recommend is that you just dont cheap out and buy the $400 one if you can because its already got all the pro interfaces and the HUGE HUGE library vs. this one where you can go download all of these interfaces for free off there page you just dont get the library and as many instruments......so all in all weeks if not months of fun for $100....
For what you get it is well worth the $100.00
Every sound is tweekable to fit what you are looking for. Not to mention the sounds are AMAZING quality for the price....
It's $100 I mean come on..I mean...COME ON!!! AMAZING for the money..
This software is amazing and dont get me wrong I would buy it again if I went back in time. However, there are a few problems I had with simple midi, with my brand new m-audio controller that works flawlessly with anything else. Half the time I got no sound through kontakt, or It cut out. This did not happen when I had kontakt 3. Kontakt 4 seemed like It had all sorts of compatibily issues. With guitar rig 4, Kore player and the other software it came with, I got absolutely no response from my guitar or midi controller. I wrote out a detailed description of this problem to NI and all iv gotten back in weeks is "We have created a help ticket for you You will be notified with anymore information to your problem blah blah" . When this software works it kicks A$%! Im going to be getting a new computer (3.2ghz 6-core, 8gb RAM, etc...) All new, so hopefully a fresh install of all my NI products and a new DAW will fix this. (This is not the only reason im buying a new system) Hopefully this works, just a little frustrating. My album is now on hold until I get the problem fixed.
If you're thinking about purchasing this product over the full version of Komplete 7, please know that it is a great gateway into the world of Komplete. I bought this along with an M-Audio keystation 88es Midi keyboard and it has been excellent. The synths in Reaktor are great and the pianos in Kontakt are as close as you can possibly get to the real thing without buying a grand piano, setting it up in a concert hall, and micing it with a $4000 set up. There are also great drum kits with kontakt and massive, but only if you have a decent midi keyboard. Having a midi that is velocity sensitive is very important(to me anyway) when using a program like this. I have also had some latency issues when recording. Be sure to use some kind of second party drivers for your sound card (ASIO, etc.)
