The Phonic Firefly that I purchased, despite some minor quirks, works well and produces great sound quality. However, Phonic's customer service is terrible. There is no support by telephone, and they do not respond to emails requesting help & assistance. Overall, the Phonic Firefly is a great value for a basic audio interface, but buyer beware: should you have problems, the only recourse you may have is simply returning the product, firguring it out on your own, or getting a new audio interface. Expect no assistance from Phonic.

I bought this to trigger Addictive Drums through my e-drum kit.
Extremely happy as i get almost zero latency.
Recording quality is also excellent.
All in all a great piece of hardware given the price.

It was simple enough to setup. I have Windows 7 so the driver I got with the unit didn't work but someone at Phonic sent me the correct driver. After that it was a piece of cake, and I got to recording with Cubase LE about 5 minutes later. I've been using this a few months now and it's been nothing but great. I always record at the highest possible quality just in case, and I love how I can go up to 192 K on this! I didn't want to mess around with firewire and I don't know anything about it so I'm glad I finally found a recording thing I can use on USB.

Ive had this product for a little over a week now and im running windows 7 64bit went to the phonic website downloaded the drivers that's supposed to be for windows 7 and they simply wont work when i read the text document it says drivers will work with xp pro & vista 64bit nothing about windows 7 furthermore the installation disk that came with was for a phonic firewire product hey mabey im doing somthing wrong but ive been digital recording on computers for a lot of years open for suggestions

Awesome interface for the price. CAN NOT be beat for the price. Everything works fine with Sonar 8, Fruity Loops, Guitar Rig...my entire setup is happy with this. If you are running Windows 7 you will have to go to the phonic website and get the drivers. I got mine yesterday and MAN this thing SMOKES. GREAT quality. Some people complained about the headphone jack not being loud enough?? These people must want to go DEAF. I have AudioTechnica ATH-M40fs and they are plenty loud enough. But back to how it functions:FLAWLESS...LOW LATENCY...24bit/192khz. CLEAR quality recordings...EASY on the pocket book. BUY THIS if you are running a home studio and don't need to record a lot of tracks simultaneously.After trying this, I will probably be buying the 808 when I need to record more tracks.Hope this review helps!!I'm also going to do an audio/video review soon...look for me.
