This portable PA equipment pack is perfect for performers on a tight budget. The Phonic Powerpod 410/S710 PA Package includes a rugged, Phonic 410 powered mixer and 2 Phonic S710 10" 2-way speakers. Depending on your needs, the speakers can be used as floor monitors or mains, and the mixer has up to 4 mic or instrument input channels. Includes 2 - 20' speaker cables and dynamic mic with cable.

The Phonic Powerpod 410 is an all-in-one mixer and amplifier that's great for a practice space or for bands playing in small venues. It is equipped with 100 watts of power, with 4 mic/line input channels, variable delay, XLR, and 1/4" TRS phone jack inputs. It also features a super musical 2-band EQ at mono channels, and an additional 1/4" stereo jack, for external signal. It also has Tape in and Record outs, for a CD or tape player, and 2 - 1/4" phone jacks for speaker connection. This mixer has a compact and durable design, as well as multiple Mic/Line input channels. The 2-band EQ on every channel gives you control over your mix.

The Phonic S710 2-way speakers give you more power for your money. Power handling reaches 80 watts program, or 160 watts peak. They feature a 10" heavy-duty woofer, and piezo tweeter. You can use them as floor monitors or mounted as main speakers.

Sounds fantastic. The system gets really loud. Included cables aren't the best, but it was inexpensive, so I didn't expect too much. The only thing that I didn't see was that it has no phantom power. Not a big deal, just something to realize.

Very Good...For a Year

Like I said, they worked good for a while.

Overall:

These worked for quite a long time, and we used them a lot, but recently they've started to go downhill. They worked great and even got pretty loud, but over time and wear and tear of about a year of good gigging, they're dying. They cut out, and distorted guitar used to sound good, but now its really scratchy. I think I'm going to see if I can get them refurbished. We'll see. Like I said though, they worked very well for quite some time.

this pa system has a decent mic and some starting gear. it has great bass and you can jam along to your ipod so i love it

Quality:

the head feels real sturdy and the speakers feel rugid. there is one small problem with the mp3 jack that i encountered though. there is something tweaked or something and so i had to push it up a little but it works fine now. completely satisfied i spent the money

this system is an amazing value i would buy this again given the chance

For certain applications, such as speaking, probably a good value. For my singing with guitar it didn't work out very well.
Overall:

For my application, I need something lighter in weight and more portable as well as a PA system that provides better options for playing background music and for singing quality.
