Not for 57s / 58s!

Comments about ProLine Standard Microphone Clip:

Shure SM 57s & 58s do not fit in this clip. In fact, it is so narrow, you cannot get the cable through the gap at the top nor can you get the XLR cable end through the middle. Use the only for long, thin shotgun style mics.

            Standard Microphone Clip

            By Ronald Smith

            from Cottonwood, AZ.

Comments about ProLine Standard Microphone Clip:

The Mike Clip looks like it was made for a lot smaller size microphone than standard. I had to really force the mike into the holder to get it half way in. The plastic clip is also very thin and looks like it could break at any time. It sure isn't a SURE brand microphone clip. I will not purchase this item again.

            Seems to work

By KC & the Valley Cats

Comments about ProLine Standard Microphone Clip:

I like this clip because it grips the mic securely, and is fairly durable. It's certainly not unbreakable, but for the price you can afford having a few spares. In the long run, it would probably pay to buy a few rubber ones instead, especially if you travel.

            Too Small for Mic

            By Jay-siBFU

            from St. Louis

Comments about ProLine Standard Microphone Clip:

I purchased the Proline standard mic clip because the less expensive one, Musician's Gear Heavy Duty mic clip, had some bad reviews. I have an Electro-Voice Cobalt and a Shure SM58 mic and neither mics would fit because the opening was too small. I could have forced it but I was afraid I'd break it. I'm going to use it as a spare only if needed.
