Advanced cooling with flow-through heat sinks and front exhaust; front-panel LED power, clip, -10dB, and signal present indicators; Speakon outs; 21-position front-panel gain controls; balanced XLR inputs with TRS connectors; and patented PowerLight power supply technology combine to make the PLX1804 one of the most versatile andpower amp available.
Clip limiting protects speakers while thermal limiting maintains operation even during abnormal overloads.

I bought the QSC PLX1804 to use with two SRX712M JBL stage monitors. This is my second QSC amp and the only type of amp that I will ever buy. I had Crowns and Mackies before, not bad, but not QSC. They are light, powerful, durable, insanely clear, include proper connection options for my use and on and on. I love it. Oh, and by the way, I had to call in this time because I had trouble with a coupon code and the MF guy on the call was great! Very helpful and took my coupon code even though the web site had dis-allowed its use. I really hate calling in to most places due to sales tactics and, usually un-qualified (sorry for this) morons, on the line but I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks.

This is a fine power amp. I have had it in my rack for 3 years and average 200 shows per year. To be honest I do not think about it. I turn it on and it works. It is extremely light very clean and quiet. Thanks QSC for making this product.

Unless you are a DJ with no money you will never run your system at 2 ohms. Without the ability to run at 2 ohms you will notice that with this amp you will get a lot more power at 4 and 8 ohms than an amp rated for 2 ohms. I own 1 RMX 1400 watt amp and find it OK but is not as musical as my ancient 1400 watt Mackies or the PLX. I have 3 of these and I'm very happy with them.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago, and couldn't be happier..Have been using different RMXs over the years and have been perfectly happy using them. Only problem is they are heavier than I can lift and I'm doing more gigs that requires moving and lifting so this amp is perfect. Have used it and tried to really push it, and no overheating, clipping, or redlining whatsoever..For someone like me who needs power, the light weight, the simplicity of hookup, plus the QSC reliability that I've come to expect after using their amps for over 10 years now, this amp is the bomb..Thanks QSC, from an older sound guy..

I replaced all my QSC RMX amps with this amp. My amp rack went from 160 lbs to 52lbs!! My band thanks me... They sound awesome and work hard. I don't need 2 ohm bridging for anything so I don't miss it. I think these are really a great solution for the mobile DJ or band. 900 watts a channel (x2) is lot in a 13lb package.

I've used these for numerous outdoor shows, being lightweight they are simple to move gig to gig, and the heat and humidity seem to have no effect on the performance of these amps, if you have the money, BUY THEM!! you wont regret it.

Got this about a month ago and am i ever pleased. The "04" line cuts out a few features (low/high pass capability) and of course, you can't run them at 2 ohms. But my oh my, what a powerhouse at just 12 lbs.very pleased.
