Comments about Sennheiser ew 300 IEM G3 In-Ear Wireless Monitor System:
Just purchased this unit for our worship leader. I ran it out of an Aviom A16 II and it sounded great, no phasing, no dropouts, and crystal clear sound. He loved not being connected to a headphone cable. I'm considering buying more units now for the other vocalist. Great buy!

Comments about Sennheiser ew 300 IEM G3 In-Ear Wireless Monitor System:
If you saw my last review, its been about two weeks. We have put a total of 10 hours on the batteries and they still show 2 bars which is approximately 70% left.
Using a click is amazing it just keep the tempo steady. And why I love using a click is cause if there is a cut out going into a chorus or something like that everyone comes in exactly on beat 1 instead off a little before or after if that all makes sense.
I also play electric guitar and I can hear everything so so clear. I much more confident in my playing. If you are even thinking about getting these just do it, it changes your playing forever and you cant go back to floor wedges.
One problem we had at our church is that everyone wanted more of there self in the monitors so everything was just blasting and we couldnt get a clean mix out in the house. That is all fixed now because of these. Thanks Sennheiser for an awesome product!

Comments about Sennheiser ew 300 IEM G3 In-Ear Wireless Monitor System:
This is the best wireless system you could get for this price. If you want a cheaper one there are more out there for less. But this sennheiser goes beyond all of those. The features are far beyond what i even need. It has a limiter which is very important if you dont want peaks in volume. ALSO it has two inputs to run stereo, but I use two recievers so we run two seperate aux sends and pan the receivers left and right so we each have our own mix. All on one transmitter and two recievers. At our church and we run a click track so the drummer and leader each have these in-ears and the clarity is awesome. The channel that it came set on works with no problem with our setup and we have other wireless systems going. Also if you are worried about range you will be fine, i went outside my church with this on and the band was playing and I was a good 500 feet away and still getting signal and that was throught a few brick walls. It has 1680 channels so you will have no problems with that. Also the earbuds that come with the system are decent. They are small so they can be hidden in your ears easily but i would probably recommend a better par so they wont fall out. Overall you cant go wrong with this system. If you cant afford it dont buy shure systems go with an Audio-Techna M3 or M2 system.

Comments about Sennheiser ew 300 IEM G3 In-Ear Wireless Monitor System:
This system has plenty of the bells and whistles more than I need for my application which is some in-ears to protect my hearing in a live band performance. Currently, only two band members including myself are using these - the drummer is using a different system. Got it up and running quick out of the box. A little better explanation in the manual of mono/stereo modes on the transmitter, along with focus/stereo modes on receiver for mixing two different input signals would be helpful. I like being able to dial the balance of myself with the general band mix from the receiver. I understand that other systems do this as well by a different description. Metal frame gives it a durable appearance, but I went with the additional warranty to cover accidental trauma. The snake feed and input to the device is on a drum-riser and the last thing you would want to hear is your device getting launched by a 'quick to exit' drummer at the end of the night. You can rackmount it with the included accessories.
Comments about Sennheiser ew 300 IEM G3 In-Ear Wireless Monitor System:
For a top quality wireless in-ear monitor system, I can't think of anything better than this unit. It's pricey, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and this system delivers in spades. Versatile, loaded with features, beautiful sound, and relatively easy to use, once it is set up. My only big complaint are the earbuds - These things are, in my opinion, not remotely stage-ready. Possibly if you are a classical musician, sitting in an orchestra and not moving about, but if you're doing any amount of moving around on stage, you'll be forced to make an additional purchase of more durable, more secure earbuds.
This thing is loaded with excellent features. Built-in EQ, many different bands with numerous channels within each band to choose from - making it extremely versatile and easy to use this device with many other wireless devices, even in an urban environment where free radio frequencies are at a premium. In addition, sychronization between beltpack and transmitter is a snap with the infrared communication - just set them to sync, "show" them to each other, and done. All these features came at a bit of a cost, though...so, so many choices (on both transmitter and receiver), and it took me a good twenty minutes to get everything set up correctly.
Quality? No contest. This is Sennheiser. Once I got everything set up correctly and was able to test out the system, it sounded *beautiful*. Crystal clear highs, full lows, and I walked all over my house (upstairs, basement, even outside) without a single dropout. The casing for both transmitter and receiver are metal - not plastic (with the exception of the battery lid on the receiver), so I would think it can take a bit more abuse than most.
Here's where the unit, as shipped, comes under my scrutiny. Now, for a Sennheiser product, I expect to pay a higher price, but they really skimped on the earbuds. These things, while sounding beautiful, are easily as flimsy as knock-off brand earbuds you'd buy for an iPod. The wire is the same, black, wispy rubber-insulated stuff you find on cheap earbuds (you know, the ones that rip in half when you happen to accidentally tug on the connector), and there are no over-the-ear hooks or stiffness in the wire to help keep the earbuds in your ears. (I've always hated standard earbuds, because they *never* stay in.) During my walk-around of the house testing the system, all I had to do was move my head around a few times, and the earbuds were falling out - even using different pads (the buds come with three sizes). On stage, I'm going to be moving around a lot more than that, and I can't stop playing my bass every 30 seconds to stuff an earbud back into my ear. As it stands, I am *forced* to purchase a more durable set of earbuds just to use this beautiful device, and for the price they are asking, they should have included something you can actually use, on-stage, right out of the box.
