I bought this 6 months ago so I could be hands free during live performances and WOW. I have always been a big fan of Sennheiser mics and this lil beauty exceeds my expectations every time I use it. Plenty of range, no dropouts and the sound quality is exceptional. It simply outperforms my hand held vocal mics. The dynamics are incredible with warm lows and beautiful highs which I have come to expect from Sennheiser. The clarity is crisp and clean. This is a very road worthy, rugged unit right down to the mic itself. Comfortable headset that stays put and the body pack has a mute switch which is very convenient. Most engineers cringe at the thought of wireless mics (I know all too well how they feel) but when I tell them it's a Sennheiser they are relieved. There is no feedback from the monitors at all with this mic and I have never had any issues with this unit sound wise. Trust me, I have been a vocalist for over 20 years and a sound engineer for 10. I have tried them all. Save up for this one and don't go cheap. It is worth every penny!
I am an active musician. Have used this for indoor and outdoor gigs. Used this in front of 1500 person audience. It never failed or cut out on me when other wireless mics used in our band did. Very comfortable headset, etc. Sold on this product.
It worked perfectly for about 10 minutes then wouldn't power up again. For that time, it was amazing. The quality of sound and ease of use were incredible. After I return it and get another one, I hope it works longer. Maybe for an entire gig.
