Nice headphones. The only problem I have is the flimsy cord & at the connection to the earphone. When wrapping the cord for storage you NEED to be careful to not cause a short in the cord.

Comments about Sennheiser HD205 II Closed Back On Ear Studio Headphones:

These are a very reliable pair of headphones. The sound quality screams Sennheiser and they are very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I only have a few remarks about them. I have big ears and the cups to the headphones are fairly small so it gets uncomfortable after a while. The rotating ear eventually breaks and the sound will only work out of the non-rotating ear. The wire is ridiculously long which is a possibility for it being run over and it's very thin as well. Other than these small things these headphones are great for a beginner. I recommend these headphones but if you have extra cash buy the HD 280 PROS instead of these

Comments about Sennheiser HD205 II Closed Back On Ear Studio Headphones:

I bought them because of the 1/8" to 1/4" jack, the rotating ear piece (which is very helpful), the added bag (which works great and keeps them safe and dust-free), and because they look sweet.

If you will be logging in lots of hours, get the Audio Technica - which have a softer, more comfortable feel - or another brand in a similar price range, because these aren't very comfortable. They are very tight and I've been trying to stretch them out, but it has only helped a little.

They are very durable and I don't anticipate having any technical problems with them

These blow Dr. Dre Beats out of the water. Bass response is incredible, and doesn't drown out everything else. Stereo is on point. The price is incredible for what you get.

I play drums and have always had a hard time with using in-ears. I move around and sweat way too much to keep them in my ears. I needed a cheap headphone option. The only con is that these really lack low-end punch.

                  Love'em!

                  By Peter Tambroni

                  from Chicago

Comments about Sennheiser HD205 II Closed Back On Ear Studio Headphones:

Highly recommended. I didn't find them 'squeezing' like the other reviewer did. However, the ear cup size is a tad small so if you have large ears you may want to look elsewhere.
I bought them since their listed bass frequency response was lower than the others - 14hz.
Tough to say. I have a couple of cheaper Sennheisers in the school I teach at and we haven't had any issues, although the adjusting design doesn't seem the sturdiest, it seems to work fine.
This is a great price for this sound quality.

                  These are perfect!

Comments about Sennheiser HD205 II Closed Back On Ear Studio Headphones:

I just bought these to use for vocal tracking and mastering and I must say, they sure do get every frequency on a song. The low end is very present. One thing is though, I love to be comfortable , and these are way to tight on the head, no matter the adjustment. After an hour or so, they hurt your ear area. Feels like someone is squeezing your head.
