I have had this mic going on 4 years now and it was the best thing I ever bought. I have never had any problems with it and it easy to carry around from gig to gig. I play on average 2 times a month and it has never failed me. The highs and lows are perfect. The range is crazy I can walk 3 blocks away and it will still pick it up. I have used different mics and I will never go back. Shure is the way to go.

The Mic has great quality for the price and is great for singing... When it is on a stand. If you plan on getting a Mic for live events where you will be handling the Mic often then look elsewhere. The Mic picks up any movements with your hands. If you switch hands with this Mic you are going to hear it. I announce a lot of events and this is really annoying and distracts the audience. The Nady system with two Mics is really cheap and doesn't even have this problem. Not good for handheld gigs.

I purchased this for use in a presentation room, mostly for audience members to ask questions during a talk. It has worked flawlessly for that purpose, and the many users of the room have been able to understand the simple on/off/mute control button.
The previous unit was receiving interference due to the FCC's reallocation of its frequency band. This new unit has completely solved that problem.

The Mic has great quality for the price and is great for singing... When it is on a stand. If you plan on getting a Mic for live events where you will be handling the Mic often then look elsewhere. I love this microphone ... it has a great look for wedding receptions at a low cost. But, by getting a low cost wireless mic, you are going to be replacing the battery (9 volt) after every gig and maybe during a gig. The battery life is so low, I think I get an hour out of my batteries, and they have died during the middle of toasts before.
Think about it..

This is an awesome microphone. I recenlty used it for a public event where there were a LOT of cell phones in use and did not have a problem. I the space was the size of a HS Gym and I was able to go all over the room without an issue. I took the mic with me into the crowd and was singing @ peoples tables. Highly suggest for anyone wanting Shure Quality on a nice budget!

I sing in a Gospel Quartet, we bought a set of the PG24/PG58 and was pleased with the quality of the sound, and range, but the noise level when handling mic's is very loud, and the battery life is not good at all. I also bought a set for our church with the same results.

I have recently bought this unit to lead with a wireless set up for our worship band. The sound quality was great! Picked up highs and lows really well. Crisp and surprisingly when I talk while the band is playing, it comes across loud and clear. Great Mic! Can't beat it for the price!

I have 3 of these mics; one in each of my DJ setups. Crystal-clear vocals, crisp lows & highs. There are no dropouts and virtually no RF interference. This mic is a great value and I highly recommend it for musicians, DJ's, churches, or general PA applications. 1/2 pt deduction for no volume (level) control, but no biggie.
