Comments about Sony MDR-7510 Professional Headphone:

While I love Sony headphones for the most part, I do not love these. I have the Sony MDR-V6 and thought I would upgrade to the Sony MDR 7510 only to be disappointed. As an enigineer/producer I need to get a balanced mix when recording and mastering. I do this through a combination of headphones and monitors. I found the Sony MDR 7510 to have a little too much bass for my intended purpose. Thus, I will be going back to my Sony MDR V6.

Not Happy at all with the Sony MDR-7510

        By Smitty

        from Wisconsin

Comments about Sony MDR-7510 Professional Headphone:

Just had the opportunity to compare two recently purchased Sony MDR-7510 headphones with a couple of my studio Sony MDR-7506 headphones.

The Sony MDR-7506 headphones articulate each instrument in a more defined and clear manner. I would liken it to viewing the branches on a tree through a crystal clear window pane (MDR-7506) verses viewing the same tree through the bottom of a soda bottle (MDR-7510).

The two pair of Sony MDR-7510 are being returned. I will be looking for a couple of pair of the Sony MDR-7506 while they are still available.

If it is true that Sony is discontinuing the MDR-7506 model in favor of the MDR7510, it is a shame because it is definitely a step backwards.

        Great Home Recording Studio Headphones!

        By stephen willis

Comments about Sony MDR-7510 Professional Headphone:

I have been recording off and on for about 5 years and these are a keeper.
It is like having candy in your ears. Wow! Great drives in these headphones. You can hear everything-high and low frequencies. And they are the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. I used to have the Sony MDR V-600, but these are way better. Light on the ears.
The only downside is the quality. Comfort sometimes comes with a price. The leather eventually wears off after a good 5 years or so. But, hey, the drives do not wear out.

        WOW AMAZING!

Comments about Sony MDR-7510 Professional Headphone:

Best headphones ive ever used! They were so great that i bought another pair 3 days later! These are definatley studio quality worth!
These are the best headphones for any studio setup! Awesome clarity and almost no sound leakage. From this point you should click the button that says "add to cart". Just buy it and you too will be amazed!
The quality is outstanding! Ofcourse the bigger brother is made of more solid metal these headphones are still durable! Very comfortable! Better than the Shures! The Frequency Range beats out almost all of the other headphones! When you listen through these, your going to notice every single detail in your studio production!
At the price you pay, you wont be sorry. Definately worth it!
