Comments about Steinberg Wavelab Elements 7:

I've been using Bias Inc Peak for years. Since they went out of business, I decided to look for a replacement. I tried many of the other editor demos and for the most part, they worked very good. I used to own Wavelab for the PC way back in the 90s, and decided to try it again. I don't need all the whistles and bells of the regular Wavelab, so I opted for the Elements version. It sometimes cryptic to understand how to apply or fix a piece, but after about a week, I was able to acclimate quite nicely. It's actually a pretty darn good bang for the buck.
If I had my drothers, I opt for the new Sony Sound Forge for Mac, as the PC version is a standard and I've used that for years. But, it's too much money for my needs. Wavelab Elements 7 is just fine. Highly recommended.
