worked flakily for 2 months (OSX) frequently dropping notes. Recently stopped working all together, contacted support and received no help and follow up mails where ignored completely. Lesson? don't ever waste time with the 'cheaper' option. Just buy a motu (if you're on mac) and get on with making the music. I'm too old to deal with half finished products and driver issues. AVOID.
I'm just getting back into recording. I needed a midi interface and this one looked like a good deal. Works great with my PC and no drivers to load.I've had midi interfaces by M-Audio and MOTU in the past and this one is right up there in terms of stability. I wish they made an 8 port one though...
I borrowed this from a friend last week. It's about the best priced 4x4 interface on on the market but I still don't think I'll buy one for myself. It looks nice, works as advertised and might be ideal for a portable set up but for me not so much. I don't care for how several of the connections are on the front. I prefer to have them all on on the back with maybe one pair up front.It's a good buy, and a nice product.
