Production-quality vocal effects in a touch layout.

The VoiceLive Touch 2 is the next generation in the TC Helicon compact vocal effects series. Building on the success of the VoiceLive Touch, this updated version gives singers even more opportunities to hone their instrument, create new sounds, and move the masses. VoiceLive Touch 2 gives singers unprecedented creative control of their live sound with state-of-the-art vocal effects and performance looping in an intuitive touch layout.

Pro Vocals On-The-Go
Getting a great vocal sound can be tough. Touch 2 automatically takes care of vocal tone with adaptive EQ, compression, de-essing and gating. This frees you up to focus on your performance with hyperactive slaps and echoes, aggressive distortion and Hardtune in addition to sweetening effects like deep reverb, doubling and those uncanny TC-Helicon vocal harmonies.

In Touch With Your Performance
Want to instantly add harmony voices, vocal distortion or a timed echo? The touch buttons allow you to explore adding and removing effects and tonal colors seamlessly while you sing. Use the slider bar to rock, flutter and transform your sonic landscape. Each preset also has the Hit button ready to launch multiple effects with a single touch.

Send In The Clones
Looping multiplies your musical persona so you can create a whole composition by yourself. VoiceLive Touch 2's 6-track looper has lots of loop time, LoopAssist for better loops and ear-catching effects like a resonant filter, stutter effects and reverse to make your one-person creations easy, unique and incredible.

Endless Styles and Genres
The GENRE feature allows you to easily browse hundreds of presets. Choose a style that suits you and VoiceLive Touch 2 will list the presets that fit your preference. There's also the ability to download new and exciting artist presets each month for free via TC Helicon's VoiceSupport application.

Make It A Hit
HIT is a performance-inspired feature for building intensity into any vocal performance. Every preset gains an A/B function via the HIT button - press to add dazzling effects for the chorus, or strip it down for the verse, you decide!

A Good Set of Ears
Embedded stereo RoomSense mics can control your harmonies from instruments nearby, replace the cabled mic for headphone practice or add ambience to your headphone or in-ear monitor mix.

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceLive Touch 2 Vocal Effects Processor:

Ok so this is 2016 and the quality of gear has come along away, if this were 2005 I reckon I'd be giving this thing more stars.
    - The preamp is OK, not amazing. I've had feedback problems with the unit running totally dry verses using a good desk preamp (Alan and heath QU, even behringer xr series is a step up).
    - It does weird things with dynamics, the mic feels less easy to control with thing on, hard to explain.
    - If you're using the xx% chromatic pitch correction and you move away from the mic there is this weird bubbling sound as it crosses onto/off the threshold
    - The reverbs are really average to bad. The delay is simple, I'd love a filter delay option personally.
    - Big one here. It's impossible to use in the dark!!! It doesn't light up the buttons so if you're using it in a nightclub/decent gig chances are you're going to hit the wrong button. :-/
    - The harmony/choruses are cheezy, but that's not why i bought the unit.
    - I bought the unit for the xx% chromatic pitch correction (which is good IMO) and the looping features and its ability to sync to MIDI clock. I haven't gigged these features, but I like them so far.
    - no real vocoder/talkbox sounds, would be magic if they actually had some good ones controllable off the midi input etc.

Overall, it's got some great features, but the sound quality of lots of the individual components lets the unit down. I was hoping for a top of the line vocal processor and although this is handy (and the best thing I can find on the market currently all in one) I was hoping for more. That said, it's doing my mild pitching well and is handy.

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceLive Touch 2 Vocal Effects Processor:

Great device, TC Helicon really backs their products and provides plentiful support & tutorials through applications alone. Out-of-the-box this thing was good to go, the cables can be slightly overwhelming but that's not a manufactural fault considering how many things it's capable of doing. I've been pleased with it, whether it be during practices/rehearsals/performances with Loverly or that of my own solo work, performing stand-up & spoken word poetry, or even recording on my own time in my studio. The effects are near infinite with all of the options of edit. I recommend this product.

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceLive Touch 2 Vocal Effects Processor:

I perform regularly in a Duo and Solo act. I play acoustic guitar and sing mostly and always have the duty of sound man.

I have been happily using my Digitech Vocalist Live 4 pedal for 5 years and purchased that after my original Digitech Vocal Harmonist Unit died.

Though my Vocalist Live 4 pedal is still going strong and pretty fantastic, I really just wanted to upgrade to "keep up with the Jones's".

This device is not quite as easy as "Pull it out of the box and use it at a gig" as the Vocalist Live 4 was. Though it is not professional, I frequently take brand new things to a gig and use them on the fly. Part of my product rating system is "Intuitive Design". The Voicelive Touch 2 is not as intuitive as I had hoped..

With that being said, Once I started to dig deeper, I really started to enjoy the options this device has.

As well, once i got things dialed in, I started to really appreciate the sound that it produces. The Harmonies sound a bit smoother than the digitech and the effects just have more depth (and I would expect so with a 5 year increase in technology). With this power of depth though, comes a learning curve and requires me to adapt..

The Looping is indeed fun and with 5 layers, I doubt I will ever use this many but who knows.. It takes a little practice to use it in this depth.

I do have a few things that I miss..

I really did like having the Volume knobs on front of the digitech to turn up and down the regular vocal and the harmony vocals. It made it easy and intuitive to adjust. This device requires a switch to a menu to do this. I knew this going in when I bought so I wasn't disappointed but I will say that I do miss it.

I became very accustomed to the Reverb in the Digitech Unit.. I believe that I will find a suitable replacement but I haven't as of yet.

On a positive note, I really like the Mic Stand design of the Voicelive Touch and Touch 2. Before the Vocalist Live 4, I had the Digitech Vocal Harmonist unit that fit on the mic stand like this unit does. Though it died along time ago, I kept the 3 button Auxiliary footswitch and was happy to find out that this switch works with the Voicelive Touch 2. So let that be known.. THE DIGITECH 3 BUTTON FOOTSWITCH ALSO WORKS WITH THIS DEVICE.

All in all, Even though this device costs a little bit more than the digitech, I believe it is worth it for the extras that you receive. WIth that being said, I cannot say that it "Sounds way better than the digitech" because for a little bit of Harmony and some decent effects, the Vocalist Live 4 does just fine..

I will still recommend this if you need a little extra Harmony in your act. Just be prepared to learn its funtioning.

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceLive Touch 2 Vocal Effects Processor:

I am a guitar player and singer. I am in a duo but also perform solo. This unit is a wonderful addition to both scenarios!
I just got this literally a few hours ago. It was very easy to set up and very easy to use.
    The presets are amazing!!!
I sold my Digitech Vocalist Live 5 and got this and am so happy I bought this!
The only issue I've had so far is how small a space there is to plug in all my cables into the back of the unit, but I did get them all plugged in. It'd be nice if there was some kind of case or cover that could be put around it so it could be left on my mic stand during transport as it will be a little cumbersome having to take it off. But, all in all, so far, I love it!
Oh yeah, when I first opened it and took it out of the box I thought the front panel was scratched but it wasn't - there's a thin protective sheet that you peel off! Doh!
