Simple-to-use pedal reacts to your voice and applies appropriate studio dynamics and EQ.

Like a personal audio engineer in a box, the VoiceTone T1 Single Adaptive Tone & Dynamics pedal helps bring out your best tone.

Adaptive EQ and Dynamics For Your Voice
VoiceTone T1 adapts studio-quality compression, de-ess and EQ to your individual voice to bring out your most exciting vocal tone. The multiband EQ compares your vocal frequencies to an ideal target and brightens and removes mud accordingly while the compressor works to keep your voice sounding smooth whether you're right on the mic or farther away.

As simple as plugging in your mic
Gaining access to the studio quality sounds and intelligent processing of the VoiceTone T1 is as simple as plugging in your mic and turning the effect on. Of course, you can always change the style or the amount of effect.

Strong family genes
The TC-Helicon VoiceTone Singles series includes four vocal processing pedals, each with a single mission – to allow any vocalist to deliver jaw-dropping performances. VoiceTone Singles are the ultimate combination of tone and simplicity. Each of the four effects has inherited algorithms from the award-winning VoiceLive 2, so although VoiceTone Singles come in small packages they deliver a big sound.

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceTone Single T1 Adaptive Tone & Dynamics:

Makes just enough difference to be worth the bill. The A/B comparisons are clearly in favor of this box. Subtle yet significant. I also own the TCH reverb box and love it. The echo/delay is next.

These boxes are valuable in a bedroom demo situation, and more so in live applications. For recording, they add an edge if dialed in moderately.

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceTone Single T1 Adaptive Tone & Dynamics:

This is a great product! I tried it out earlier this week and I have to say my voice sounds great through this thing.

I needed something to even-out my voice a little bit for a new group that I have been working with for the past few months. Before this group, I was part of a street performing group and we rarely used microphones. When I joined this new band, I heard some recordings of our practices and I hated the way my voice sounded. Major fluctuations in volume, notes were sounding like I wasn't holding them long enough, and I just hated the way my voice sounded. It was a major blow to my ego, because I thought I could sing.

Well, I plugged this thing in and it essentially makes my voice do what I know it's capable of doing. This thing is definitely not a "talent simulator" pedal that turns your voice into that of an angels, but if you have any natural ability you will certainly notice an improvement. Now I can sing where I feel comfortable and my confidence is back. Love this thing already.

To the casual listener...the difference isn't going to create any kind of "wow" factor. However it will make a huge difference to you and your band mates. Perhaps it is somewhat of a placebo effect, because the improvement seems to have come because of this pedal. But if it makes you sing and play better...then why not buy it? Good stuff. Looking at more TC Helicon products already.

One thing: make sure your levels are turned DOWN on your mixer when you plug this thing in. It makes things much hotter than normal so don't blow up any expensive equipment before you can actually test it out!

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceTone Single T1 Adaptive Tone & Dynamics:

I have a total of five of the voicetone singles and this one was the one I started with first. Its easy to use, simply plug in mic, go out of the T1 in to the channel strip and your ready for great sounding vocals. No need to adjust anything on the board. As a matter of fact, just leave everything at 0 on eq. Turn the shape about 2 or 3 O clock and the compresser/desser about 3 or 4 O clock and go sing your heart out. It sommhow lifts the voice out of the mud and on a cloud. It listens to your voice and gives it what it needs. My bandmates couldn't believe it. You should leave this one on all night as you perform. You will not be dissapointed if you get this. This may be the sound you've always wanted for your vocals , well look no further, You've found it!!!!

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceTone Single T1 Adaptive Tone & Dynamics:

I bought this unit hoping it would help add some life to my vocals since I don't have a great voice and also I wanted something I could control from the stage since we don't have an actual soundman. I used it at rehearsal for a while before trying it live because I just happened to get it when we were breaking in a new drummer. At first I couldn't really hear it doing anything and after a few reheasals just sorta put it aside. But when I did use it at a gig I was pleasantly surprized that it actually does what it says. It just needs some juice to do it's thing.
The other singers in the band sound noticably duller next to my tone and they are both far better singers than me. But take note that it's the sort of thing where if you don't have one you might think you sound fine, but if you hear it next to a straight mic there really is a nice difference. I used it last night at a large club that allowed us to put some juice to the PA and I could really hear a difference in my sound compared to the other guys. They both want one now.
This is not going to make a bad singer sound good but if you just need some enhancement it's a very inexpensive helper and a must if you have a limited PA rig. And it works well with all my mics: EV nd257-nd357, Audix OM2, AKG C900, Oktava MK12, Shure SM 57 & 58, Crown311,

        NICE

        By Phillip Baggett

        from Mississippi

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceTone Single T1 Adaptive Tone & Dynamics:

Great pedal. It cleans up your voice very nicely. I have a very low voice, and personally I think this pedal would be best suited for ppl who want to get rid of bass and have an overall balanced mix on their vocals, although I find the warmth switch to come in handy when singing raspy blues. Like I mentioned earlier, if you're a talented singer this pedal will help, but you probably can do without. If you are using a bad mic, i've noticed this thing definately helps with clarity. I look forward to using this in a live setting.
Two tweak knobs. This pedal is not a pedal full of features. But I don't believe it was intended to be. It does have a meter for your incoming signal, which is a plus. Also comes with a warm button, which is pretty much a bass boost.
I've only had it for about a week, so I can't say how well it holds up. It seems to be made of good material and it is a cool looking pedal. The on/off switch feels solid, and I don't believe it will be malfunctioning anytime soon. If you are familiar with guitar pedals; this pedal is only a bit bigger than a standard boss stompbox.
So far, I think it's a solid value. It basically mixes your voice for you. If you can't sing ( I can't sing), this pedal is very beneficial. If you are a talented singer, you can probably do without this pedal.

Pretty good - enjoying this purchase

        By Tim Chorle

        from Undisclosed

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceTone Single T1 Adaptive Tone & Dynamics:

Overall this won't blow you away but it adds a nice subtle tone to your voice for singing and removes the hard "s" sound. Doesn't seem to remove "p" (pop-filter) but you should be using a pop filter anyway. I like that it has a built in pre-amp level since i needed this anyway for my setup. Again, you won't hit the button and go "Whooo do hear the difference?" but it's there. Overall a nice a product to help cleanup the levels and setting you might otherwise have to play with post-processing if you do recording, and of cource great if live.
Features are basic, most are automatic.. would like to see more EQ controls to add bass.. but maybe that's not the design here.
        Built solid
A little expensive, under $99 for these boxes would seem like a better value

VoiceTone Single T1 Adaptive Tone & Dynamics

        By james alred

        from Portland

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceTone Single T1 Adaptive Tone & Dynamics:

It's inexpensive, it's minimal, it does the job, the compressor is effective and transparent. I push to in between center and 3/4. The EQ ? I haven't noticed so much, perhaps because so far, I have been running through pretty decent systems. I like the way it sounds half way between off and center.
The features are minimal which is what I wanted. I wanted something that I could go into a venue without the greatest sound system, perhaps with no sound tech, plug in, sound OK, with some compression and not have to do a lot of configuring. Oh yes and have phantom power for my condenser mic.
Solid, compact, good pots and coneections.
For the money ? it's amazing, how do they do it? I spend more then that on guitar strings and beer in a week.

        TC Helicon Voicetone Single T1

By Tired of the Road Joe Morris

from Norfolk, NE (Johnny Carson's hometown)

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceTone Single T1 Adaptive Tone & Dynamics:

OK, I'll cry "uncle" -- I was wrong about this little bugger. I didn't think it could do the job, but it did. I'd been looking for 2 years on how to get that "push through" sound -- even buying a crossover and feedback destroyer and a pair of powered speakers to go with my inactives, but was frustrated, even though I was very close after going through dozens of combinations with my mixer. So, like a moth to a flame -- not knowing why I needed to spend any more money -- I read through about 60 products on voice boosters, and when I saw the price and description on the little Single T1, I figured "what the heck", then kicked myself with doubt while waiting for it to come. However, after hooking it up, I was pleasantly surprised for the 1st time in a long time, and very impressed. It finally gave that opening where you could "sail a note" instead of bouncing off an invisible barrier -- like when you finally get an arm through a coat where the sleeve's been turned inside out. I'm more than impressed, and very satisfied. If they just came down a little more in price, I'd get a couple more for the other microphones. Nevertheless, for the price, it delivered more than I thought it would. I'm glad I bought it.
