Comments about Ultrasone PRO 750 Stereo Headphones:
I've had my headphones for about 5 years - a different model, but still the same structurally regarding the headband. I actually liked my headphones quite a bit, but I never used them much since I tend to rely on studio monitors for most of my work. I'd always kept them safely tucked away and they are in great condition except for the plastic that cracked on one side of the flexible portion of the headband and the other side broke completely. It seems as though the plastic connection towards the top took quite a bit of tension when worn rather than the flexible part (as designed to do).
I contacted Ultrasone to see if I could at least get replacement plastic parts received the following email:
Hello,
We can repair but they are out of warranty, there is a 35.00 flat repair fee plus parts and return shipping.
Crystal Williams-US Distribution/Operations mgr.
When I'd asked if I could just purchase the parts (which, according to the email, I'd have to pay for additionally), the response was that they do not sell replacement parts separately.
As for the headphones, I enjoy monitoring. Not as bright as other headphones I've used. Good low-end. Still, for the price-point and the amount of usage I got out of them, I'd rather go with something else.

Comments about Ultrasone PRO 750 Stereo Headphones:
These headphones are very accurate. However, they MUST be burned in before you use them or they will sound very bass and high end heavy with a weak mid range. I use them 4-5 nights a week for live sound and they are much more true sounding than the Sony 7506 headphone they replaced.
Comments about Ultrasone PRO 750 Stereo Headphones:
I have found these headphones to be excellent! They offer some of the clearest audio reproduction you'll ever hear, although I have found that they can be a little lacking in the bass frequencies at low volumes. In some ways, they are actually TOO good - I can't use them with my computer, because they reproduce all of the annoying electrical signal pops and buzzes that you wouldn't even realise were there with an inferior set of headphones! They also require a moderately powerful preamp to function effectively - for example, many MP-3 players lack the output potential to get these headphones working at their optimal level. A decent sound desk, however, will have no problems outputting a monitor signal with enough juice to power these headphones to their full (impressive) potential!I absolutely love using these when I mix bands - the extremely high-quality sound reproduction allows me to tailor my mix to an incredibly fine degree.Overall, I would thoroughly recommend these headphones to any audio engineer or musician who takes great sound seriously!
Comments about Ultrasone PRO 750 Stereo Headphones:
I tried out two pairs of these a couple of months ago. Way too much base in the kick drum area. Sent back the first pair because I thought it must be defective. The second pair was the exact same problem. Musicians Friend rep said he thinks they are just like that. So I sent them back for a refund. I spent a lot of time trying to make them work. Even talk radio was muffled. It says to adjust them over your ears for the best sound for you. I found that to make these work for me (balance out the upper and lowers) I had to lift the back up 1/4 inch or move them back resting them over the small part of the ear in the front. That hurt after one song and the former just wasn't going to stay up by itself. The kick drum became the star of the show in everything I listened to and recorded. The upper frequencies were really good and very accurate. The ear cups were small for me --use to the oval kind. I tried to get a written warranty (or just find it spelled out some where) from Ultrasone--Musicians friend told me twice they didn't know anything about one ( the last call (3rd time) I was told that it said to refer us to Ultrasone). They would answer questions but ignore the written warranty questions. You get --silence from them. (E-mails) Really --they act like you said nothing. If that was all I asked they would not respond. If I asked several questions then they would answer that and skip the written warranty question. They did say that if you bought them this year in the USA you got a limited 5 year warranty. Well I found that you will not find out what is limited, and what isn't and you will not find it in writing. At least at that time. I bought these because of the Ear safety feature and so many reviews in different sites spoke of their accuracy and could even use them for mixing! Not my experience with two pairs of them.
Comments about Ultrasone PRO 750 Stereo Headphones:
I have used many headphones and none can compare to the Ultrasone Pro 750s. First off they are extremely comfortable. The cup is on the bigger side, so it fits directly over the ear as opposed to on it. Next the quality of the 750s is exceptional. They are clean and accurate in there reproduction of sound, thus they are versatile and great for any genre of music. With the S-Logic, it is literally as if one is completely engulfed in sound, as if the music was being played in front of ones self. Lastly I hope other headphone manufacturers take notes and pay attention to Ultrasone because there headphones are literally the best headphones I have ever used. So if you are looking for a pair of great headphones, that are comfortable, great sounding and can look past the price tag check out Ultrasone-they wont disappoint.
Comments about Ultrasone PRO 750 Stereo Headphones:
I look at these Ultrasone PRO 750's as an investment in my ears. And really, to a musician, what could be more important? The offset diaphragms really reduce the direct sound pressure on my ear drums, which means longer sessions without my tinnitus kicking in. And as for sound... I'm hearing all the bad stuff that used to go unnoticed.
