Comments about Waves Mercury Native Software:
I demoed the Waves Mercury Bundle and only ended up using a few plugins on most tracks. The newer (2007 and up) plugins like the API collection and SSL series are great. Renaissance...stellar. They brought my mixes alive! But as a whole this is not a worthwhile package. I would highly recommend testing these out and then making your decision based on how many you used. I'll end up buying the Musician's 2 pack and Studio Classics.
Comments about Waves Mercury Native Software:
Where do I start? These plugins are the best, bar-none! I can't even begin to describe how easy they are to use and how much of a difference they make to your final product. The only down-fall is the price . . .I know, my wife almost killed me when these showed up in the mail. I'd do it again, though, as my ability to create professional products has been through the roof. Anyone who knows anything about Waves products knows that they are serious plugins. Artists and bands have been very impressed with the results of their albums, demos, and the waiting list for time in my studio has tripled. These plugins will pay for themselves very quickly if this keeps up. One further point. The Waves site on the internet has many "pre-set" down-loads available when you register. These pre-sets are made by many different professionals in the recording industry. Phenominal!
