This affordable PA equipment delivers high-end sound quality.

Value-priced PA system comes with Yamaha EMX212S 12-channel, 2x200W mixer; 2 Yamaha BR12 12" 2-way speakers; 2 - 20' speaker cables; 2 StarPower 9 mics; 2 - 20' mic cables; and 2 speaker stands.

Yamaha EMX212S 12-Channel Powered Mixer
The durable, lightweight Yamaha EMX212S 12-Channel Powered Mixer has dual 200W amps, 16 Yamaha SPX effects, built-in graphic EQs, and loads of input options.

Flexible power
The power mode switch lets you use the dual power channels as a stereo amplifier, or use one channel for the main speakers and one for the monitors, with separate monitor mix setup via the channel MONITOR controls.

SPX digital effects
16 Yamaha SPX effects—including reverb, echo, chorus, flanger, phaser, and even distortion—let you add the finishing touches to your live presentation.

Graphic EQs
Graphic equalizers are provided for both the main and monitor power channels so you can effectively control feedback or tailor the sound to match the room and program material.

Input options
The Yamaha EMX212SC offers a total of 12 input channels—4 for monaural microphone (with phantom power) or line input, plus 4 pairs that can function either as monaural mic inputs or stereo line inputs—providing a versatile mix of input capabilities for a wide range of applications. If only mic inputs are needed, you can use up to 8 mic channels. If you want to play recorded background music during breaks using a stereo input, and have a keyboard player with stereo outputs, you still have 6 mic/line inputs available. If all 4 stereo pairs are used to handle stereo line sources, you still have 4 channels available for mono mic or line input. It's a versatile system that can adapt to your needs with ease!

Yamaha Speaker Processing
Yamaha Speaker Processing (YSP) provides optimized matching with speakers, for clean, solid reproduction that will deliver your music with maximum impact.

FCL (Feedback Channel Locator) system
The Yamaha FCL (Feedback Channel Locating) system makes locating and eliminating feedback easier than ever. FCL indicators provided on each input channel indicate which channel feedback is occurring in, so you can identify it visually and adjust levels or EQ as required. Another handy features is a Standby switch that mutes channels 1 through 8 so that, for example, after rehearsal or between sets you can mute performer's inputs 1 through 8 without having to change fader settings, while stereo inputs 9 through 12 remain active for background music playback.

Durable, lightweight design
At only 22 pounds and featuring conveniently located handles, the EMX212S powered mixer is easy to transport. It's built to withstand the rigors of the road and deliver reliable performance, night after night.

Yamaha BR12 12" 2-Way Speaker Cabinets
The easy-to-handle Yamaha speakers feature computerized, high-precision, environmentally friendly woodworking; large steel handles; corner protectors; built-in pole sockets; and balanced acoustic design. Tight, punchy lows come from Bass Reflex technology while crisp (not brittle) HF response is generated by new titanium drivers with 90 degree by 40 degree nonresonant horns. Integral protection circuitry and a 3-year warranty mean they'll never let you down.

Bought this package about six years ago. It's been abused and gigged, dropped, thrown in and out of the van without issue. Very functional for small shows. Main/monitor features are great for DYI, small budget. The effects are basically useless. The BR12 speakers are OK... very durable and perform better than expected. Nice, crisp sound. If you're shopping for a PA package on a budget, this will serve you very well. Add some monitors and a coule larger speakers and you're set for some decent gigging. I've repaired the stands several times due to cheap hardware, but not a big deal. Also, buy some decent mics when you can. Nothing has really changed on this system since I bought it, which is generally a good sign.

Flip Flop Man

Comments about Yamaha EMX212S-BR12 PA Package:

Speaker stands fit very tight into the speakers. Had to rework the interface for ease of assembly and disassembly.
Easy to use. Great sound. Speaker cables are 1/4" jacks on both ends. No microphone stands included.
No complaints.
Awesome value, especially after getting a discount. Had to pay additional shipping due to the weight of the speakers.

great little pa

By Anonymous

Comments about Yamaha EMX212S-BR12 PA Package:

Bought this system because I can't lug around big back breaking speakers and try to get them onto stands by myself. Yamaha quality is bullet-proof!This little system does its job very well and I have nothing but praise for the system. Would like to see Yamaha use metal jacks on the speaker cab's however. The mic's that come with the package though are junk. Give em to garage band starting up. Rock on Yamaha!!!!!!!

Nice little system

Comments about Yamaha EMX212S-BR12 PA Package:

For the money, a great little system. Bought this for my 16 y/o son's band. Cables and stands are poor, mic's are OK for my son's use. The head and speakers are first rate for a small PA. Used it tonight with my son's band and my guys. Plenty of volume for my 5 acre back yard,Buy it, you'll only be dissapointed if your expectations are unrealistic.

Good Quality/Reasonable Price Point

By Pegleg

Comments about Yamaha EMX212S-BR12 PA Package:

Great system for medium sized venue; except for the mics, great quality for the money, but definitely upgrade the mic. I use it for vocals and xlr my acoustic guitar amp out to it also (for coverage, not volume gain).

pretty good

Comments about Yamaha EMX212S-BR12 PA Package:

This is a great little P.A for a tiny group of people who just want to jam. But it really wont work for a big show. Its great for a little band room or if you need to D.J a little party, but if you need it for a big dance party it wont do well. I recommend this for a solo or duo group but not for a big rock group who needs to blast out a group of 200 or 300 people. But it works for me.

Good for small gigs and practice

By Sasquatch-8WDP.

from Dallas, TX

Comments about Yamaha EMX212S-BR12 PA Package:

Our band of 2-3 guitars, bass, drummer and 2 singers used to use it for gigs and now it just sits in the practice room as our mainstay. Clean sound without a lot of heavy-weight options. With a mixer on the side for mic-ing drums, it supports 5 musicians easily. Look for better mics and cables for sure but the amp and speakers will last if you don't abuse them.

not that good

By T.j.-1Rslu

from Philadelphia, PA

Comments about Yamaha EMX212S-BR12 PA Package:

I bought this for my band, and it doesn't get the job done. It?s not loud enough for a rock band. It might be good enough for karaoke, not for a hard rock band. We don't even play that loud. The preamp ALWAYS peaks. The Feedback control LED is always on too. The effects are cool, but they're no use if you can't hear it. I read all these good reviews about it, so I took everyone's word for it. Boy was I wrong. I am returning this thing as soon as possible.

Great System

By Levi Rocks-8tmJj

from Germanton, NC

Comments about Yamaha EMX212S-BR12 PA Package:

Soooo Light! Sooo Loud! I run my monitors and mains off this. 4 speakers on each channel, with 200 watts per 4 ohms...I can fill a medium sized venue no problem. And for larger/outdoor gigs, out to a power amp is no problem. It has spoiled me.
