I've owned this pedal since 1999 when i was up for a senior talent show and needed it to play Live's "Lightning Crashes". I still use it. I do want to upgrade to a "real" phaser, but for as much as I use it (hardly, or just to add punch to leads now), its perfect. Batteries last forever, and its held up to my stomping since 1999.
Give it a shot.
I also own the tuna melt tremolo which is one of the best feature wise I have played. This phaser does not have the slight volume dip as the tremolo did.
Get both!

It's ok for the price

I tried this pedal at a music store and it's a good sounding phaser pedal (especially if think the little buck you're paying for it), let's say is decent. It's the same for any Danelectro pedal: if you can't afford other pedals (EHX, MRX, Boss, Line6, Pro Co, etc.) Danelectro pedals are good enough for the price but if you can pay for better pedals please do!

delicious peperoni

I've initially decided to use it 'coz it was very affordable, the phaser was urgent to me, and I' couldn't pay a MXR phase 90, I had owned another danno pedals, and I thought that they are very decent, but when I used it, I was very pleased, 'coz it gives a sweet, vintage, clear, expressive and a wide range of sound. Unfortunately someone stole my peperoni, but some months later I bought another one, this time I could pay the MXR but I've decided to use the danelectro, I really love it, some people think ( as me few years ago), that these pedals are cheap and worthless, but they really weren't. I gave a 7 in features 'coz it has only knob ( but is enough, you can believe me), a 8 in quality 'coz although is made of plastic, is very durable, and has a useful hard plastic knob protector, value 10 'coz, you'll never get this quality for the price, and a global 9, 'coz though it exist a million phasers more expensive, and full of great features, this one is very competent and has a price unbeatable.

Mine Picked Up AM Radio

When I plugged this product into my guitar, immediately I could hear a local AM radio station. Hopefully this was an anomaly-surely Danelectro wouldn't let this get past quality control. All my other Danelectro products have been excellent pedals for the price .When I could ignore the AM noise, however, I could hear that the phaser effect seemed to work pretty well. But the radio interference was too much to overcome. Try it and, hopefully, your pedal will not have this problem.

This One Plays The Radio

I received this pedal a few weeks ago. When I plugged it into my practice amp and guitar,I immediately began to hear my local AM radio station! Now,the phaser effect was working-but the radio station drowned it out. I hope that this is a very rare occurence, because all my other Danelectro pedals are great effects for the price. The phaser effects worked well and sounded decent-but mine played AM radio, and I could not get rid of the signal.
