Ever since i saw this thing being used by my friend i thought it was pretty nifty. I decided to buy one off of another site because i didn't know about Musiciansfriend at the time, and it turns out instead of getting a reissue, i got a vintage one. Now, after comparing a reissue and the vintage, the vintage sounds better, but the reissue is not far behind. This pedal can do so many things, and yes, it can reproduce Kurt Cobain's sound, if you're aiming for that. It has a crystal clear chiming chorus effect, and if you switch the depth knob down, you can get a wide arrange of extreme sounds. Over all, this pedal is amazing, and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a good chorus.

The best chorus pedal.

This pedal is fantastic! Not many controls, but when it sounds this good on its own, you really don't need controls. The knob is good for speed, and can let you dial in the subtlety to a greater degree than I first expected. This is a gorgeous, shimmering chorus that is not overpowering, but also not cheesy, as so many other chorus pedals are.

This pedal is good for chorus-y 80s pop/light shoegaze (the Church, Cocteau Twins, etc, and also Slowdive) but also for more grungy or psychedelic moments. It also sounds great with distortion, giving the tone a bell-clear edge that works very well when trying to cut through a mix.

Highly recommended!

Best-sounding Chorus I've ever used...

First off, I LOVE this chorus pedal. It really warms up cleanish rhythm lines and adds a lot of natural ambience to your sound. Also, when playing with a good amount of distortion, this pedal thrives at helping your sound cut through the mix.

But the coolest thing about this pedal is that it's ANALOG!! None of that digital crap that Boss puts out (CH-1 = CHEESY). The SC is the most natural-sounding pedal I've ever owned. It's my bread and butter.

Some have complained it breaks to easily. I have a suggestion: TAKE CARE OF YOUR PEDALS!!! I don't have that problem and I keep mine on my pedalboard all the time; never had a pedal break on me. Besides, this pedal is in aluminum casing, and while the parts may not be hand-made or hand-built, this pedal is tough and as long as you take care of your gear, this pedal won’t have any problems.

Get this pedal TODAY!! You won’t regret it!!

Great Chorus

This pedal was my first choice for a chorus pedal, for three reasons,: 1) The sound 2) Because I finnaly wanted to get an ELX pedal (sorry Im an MXR guy) 3) because it was the closest I could get to Jonny Greenwood's (Radiohead) chorus sound, without buying the poly chorus.

I thought that this pedal would be great and although there is only one knob, and a swich, those two can do alot. Its priced great and it gets a great sound, the only complaint is: sometimes, but not always, when i engage the effect, i hear a loud POP! but it doesn't happen that often

I bought this pedal to get a Nirvana type sound, and realized it could do so much more. You can get grunge, classic rock, jazz all out this pedal. If you want a chorus pedal get this.
