Many guitars have a thin veneer of high quality tonewood on top, but the SA2160FM features a thick 15mm flamed maple top that makes a big difference in tone. The neck is set-in 5-ply maple and bubinga, another boon to tone and a joy to play. A True-Duo DiMarzio IBZ bucker bridge pickup combined with single-coil neck and mid pickups give you a variety of sounds to choose from. You can eliminate the need to take 4 guitars to the gig with the SA2160FM !
The SA2160FM is thin around its body edges to give you great comfort, and thick around the neck, pickups, and bridge to give you great tone. It's for players who want sleekness, but with a standard flat back. The 25.5" neck scale offers narrow feel and tight tension similar to an RG.
