I bought the "Roto" for use with my keyboard, and I am very pleased with the results. It has a sound that your ear doesn't get tired of - like the built in vibrato/leslie that comes with my keyboard. I really like the "ramp" effect that gradually goes from the slow to fast speed, and from fast to slow. I have used it at 5 gigs with great results! It was easy to set up. I also use it on guitar.

Awesome Rotary Simulator

I bought the Rotomachine from the local store yesterday and I love it.

It is the third Tonecore pedal I've bought, and it, like the others, does not disappoint me in the slightest.

I bought it mainly to replace the rotary simulator on my PodXT Live, because I found the limited tweakability of the onboard rotaries to be very frustrating.

As for the sound, I have no idea if this REALLY sounds like a real Leslie, but it doesn't really matter to me. It sounds good, and it does its job just fine.

The drive on this simulator is quite responsive. It sounds great compared to the drive on the Boss RT-20.

I have heard that a lot of people find that this unit is a tone sucker, tone colorer, etc, but have not found this at all. I mean, obviously it colors the tone, but not negatively.

To wrap up, this Rotary pedal is a great addition to my rig. I've really enjoyed it so far, and look forward to a long time of using it.

I always have this feeling that when I order a pedal, or when I buy one, when I get it home it's going to be a big let down...not this time. Line 6 does a great job with this one. First impression...this thing is built like a tank. Seriously, it weighs about 10 lbs...not really, but it's heavy. The sound this thing puts out is incredible. It's taken a while to get that just right balance between horn and drum, but you can get a good true tone with effortless work with this thing. All in all, great pedal and I definitely don't regret buying it.

A heart-stopping Leslie effect.

I have been looking for a rotating speaker effect to use in-line with my Roland GR-1 guitar synth. I love the B-3 sound of the GR-1, but the internal chorus never really nailed the sound. I tried the Line 6 Roto-Machine with a guitar at the music store and was blown away by the guitar/Leslie effect. I bought it and took it home to hook up to the GR-1. Well, when I played the first chord and toggled the speed change, I let out a scream of delight that had the neighbors thinking I had been murdered. The sound is absolutely dead-on to a B-3/Leslie combo. So either as a guitar effect or guitar/synth effect, the Roto-Machine is as close as you're gonna get for a unit that fits in your gig bag, at any price.

Great for Electro-Harmonix POG users

I got this pedal a few days ago and I have to say that this is a really nice leslie simulator. I use an Electro-Harmonix POG pedal (which can make your guitar sound like an organ) but I've been looking for a leslie type sound to go with it, in the past I have used a older Dunlop Rotovibe (JH-4S) and it worked ok for the sound so one day I plugged my POG into my Line6 POD and tried the leslie effect on that and it sounded great so I figured I would try the Line6 Roto-Machine, and I'm glad I did. The roto-machine works great with the POG. Some of the cab sounds are good some I don't care for too much but overall I like the pedal. So for those of you who have a POG get this pedal to get the full organ sound out of your guitar.
