I just got this pedal today and after only five minutes alone with this thing ive found the perfect clean tone ive been looking for I will never need another chorus pedal after this one this is hands down the best chorus pedal out there and i promise you will not be dissapointed its seems very durable and its built like a tank the tone possibilities with this pedal are endless good job Dunlop on such an amazing chourus pedal!!!

Let me preface this review by saying that this is not the first chorus pedal I've used, but it will definitely be the last one, as I will never need another one after this. I had used a Digitech, Boss, and Electro-harmonix chorus before this one, and the MXR wipes the floor with all of them. In metal, you have to have a great clean tone for those power ballads, and a good chorus is the only way to do this, but it also has to marry well with high gain, and stay quiet. In this the MXR excels. From slow, deep chorus to watery warbles, it sounds fantastic. The coolest feature is the built in EQ, which works great if you want to add in a chimey overtone to your cleans. The little switch doesn't do exactly what it says, to my ears it acts more like a very subtle treble boost. Sounds fantastic, my only comlaint is that it's a little on the pricey side, but well worth it.

This is a great sounding chorus and is extremely quiet, thanks to the built-in noise reduction. It's one of the best current production chorus pedals available, in my opinion. All of the knobs are very responsive so you can dial in just about any chorus you want, from light and subtle to deep "swoosh" sounds. It works great for 80's rock like The Police, etc. The EQ and low-pass filter work as advertised. The 18v wall wart is a pain but the sound makes up for the inconvenience.
