Comments about Jupiter 969 GL Artist Alto Saxophone:
I tried this sax (or a similar Jupiter model) at a local music store used. it felt like a solid horn with comfortable ergonomics and tone that sounds better than an entry level sax but definitely not approaching professional. it has a kinda rounded tone. if thats what youre looking for then this is a beautiful piece. the rumor that Jupiter saxophones are hard to blow is a myth. it played very nicely. there is a downside though. try it before you buy it because the metal of some of these horns are soft enough to dent with your thumb ***or so i hear***. personally i would save my money and buy a higher up Yamaha or Selmer used. (YAS-62 or Series II respectively)
