The Atlas Sound MS-10C is a versatile stand with durable tubing, the famous Atlas Sound wear-proof clutch, and a 10" diameter die-cast circular base. The three-piece clutch provides positive locking control and is able to withstand years of stage and studio handling.
The base features edge-concentrated weight distribution and is equipped with rubber pads to absorb shock and protect floor surfaces. The 5/8" and 7/8" dia. tubing is fully adjustable with a vertical extension ranging from 35" to 63".
Tubing is manufactured of cold rolled steel and terminates in the industry standard 5/8" - 27 thread suitable for microphone clamps and accessories. Top and bottom lock-nut rings are included for versatile and secure positioning.

The base weight is more than adequate to keep this stand vertical. The height adjustment is sufficient for sitting or standing musicians.
The threads are well machined with no hangups, the shaft is straight, and the finish quality is excellent.
If you are looking for a mic stand that does what it's supposed to do, it s excellent quality, and at a price point that is affordable, this is your mic stand.

Musicians Friend dropped the ball on me with this one. The mic stand was horribly packaged and the receipt/return slip was half peeled away,so it was stuck to the inside of the box...Read complete review
Musicians Friend dropped the ball on me with this one. The mic stand was horribly packaged and the receipt/return slip was half peeled away,so it was stuck to the inside of the box. No matter how careful I was, the slip ripped in half.
The stand was either defective or had been preveiously returned. It was bent and would not assemble correctly. My email to support was never answered, so I either had the choice to send it back at my expense (and lose the great deal the stand would have been) or have it fixed by a welder I know. I had it fixed, but was let down on the customer service end.
I like Musicians Friend and have never had a problem before. I hope this was an isolated incident.

I've used Atlas stands at different times over my life and they have always been excellent. This MS-10C continues the Atlas tradition. This stand is solid and well-weighted. It should outlast me.

This stand is built like a tank and don't worry about tipping it over. Adjustments are reliable and even comes with a mic.clip. For a reasonable price you can't do better.

I bought 4 of these about 14 years ago for our church band. They are built like tanks and have already outlasted several others we had. Invest a bit and you will not be disappointed!

I have several of these Atlas mic stands that are over 40 years old. They still work and look as good as new. These were designed back in the days before everything was disposable. Sure, you can get cheaper, but if you want something that lasts, gets some of these.
