i have these mounted all over my house. they seem strong and i have had none of them come loose.i would prefer this hanger to have a metal base but the molded plastic seems strong. i could not find any info online as to the weight rating of these as i have a heavy guitar.i would definitley only mount this into a stud and not just into sheetrock . also i bought 3" long # 8 course thread drywall screws in black @ home depot to mount these. the screws that came with it seemed to short and the 3" screws hold better as i have mounted with both.

I own some Coffin Case wall hangers, which were steel and black-painted wood, and they were great. I bought these Musicians' Friend ones on the strength of that, but read the product description carefully- these say they are metal and plastic, and sure enough, the 'coffin' shaped block is a hollow plastic thing! It'll still work, but be aware that companies are capable of making cheaper less desirable versions of existing stuff to get into Musician's Friend. If I was desperate to match the existing ones, I'd have failed, they're obviously different.

Comments about Coffin Case Coffin-Shaped Guitar Wall Hanger:
one of the few mounts that swivel if you install it properly. that way it fits my Fender Tellys as they have skinny heads, they as well will fit my Schecter's but will not fit my classic Yamaha's
Pros
- Easy to install
- Great Support
Cons

Comments about Coffin Case Coffin-Shaped Guitar Wall Hanger:
Great product, easy to install and it was on sale which is never a bad thing.
The coating on the arms is thick, good protection
for your favourite axes.

Comments about Coffin Case Coffin-Shaped Guitar Wall Hanger:
Bottom line they are a great product. I've always loved the look of guitars hanging rather than on stands, and they take up less space this way, too. I just bought a couple more guitars, and will definitely be getting two more of these guys.
Nothing special, as it has most of the same features as any other wall hanger. But it looks cooler than just a woodblock oin the wall, so I give it props for that.
I've had 5 of them for about 3 years now, and they work as well today as they did the day I received them in the mail. Find a stud and you are good to go.
A little higher than the more plain options out there, but I guess you are paying for the looks of the product.
Comments about Coffin Case Coffin-Shaped Guitar Wall Hanger:
I would recommend this product to my friends.
The coffen case wall hanger looks cool on the wall , was easy to install, and holds the guitar nice.
Seems to be pretty good quality, haven't had any issues yet.
They are reasonably priced and work good.
Comments about Coffin Case Coffin-Shaped Guitar Wall Hanger:
Make sure you screw the screws into a stud and it's not going anywhere. Padding on the supports will not scratch your instrument. There's nothing left to say.
Features? It's just a hanger for your guitar- what features?
I've had some of these things hanging my guitars and basses for as long as 5 years and nothing has fallen or come loose whatsoever-- I suppose the quality is fine.
Product which does its job for the amount I earn in a half an hour. Value good.
