I purchased a few packs of D'Addario EJ11 80/20 to restring my Taylor 414ce, Taylor 614ce, and a few other high end and low end guitars, and I am very impressed. Compared to coated Elixrs (both Nanoweb and Polyweb) and to D'Addario EJ16 Phosphor Bronze, these D'Addario EJ11 80/20 strings are much more brighter and present. They provide a well rounded tone with ample clarity. These strings are really really worth trying out if your after a brighter and crispier tone with exceptional bass and mid response. Also, with proper cleaning and care, these strings will last a few months or so and still maintain sonic integrity. Enjoy

I knew it! These 80/20 Bronze strings sure do have a bright crip tone. Maybe when if I try the Medium gauge kind, the volume might be even sharper.

These strings are really, really bright right out of the package, but after they stretch they round out a little more. I personally like how bright these are, as the project great. And for the price, if you don't like em, just try something different

they are very good. Very good for your ears, fingers, and pockets. Cheap, the sound is crystal clear and strong. They're better than some of the Elixirs that I've used. Try them, I'm sure you'll enjoy the ringing and rich deep tones it has.

I replaced the elixirs on my big baby taylor with these last January and the sound just really amazed me. It's still in my Taylor and the color is still golden, not fading. The bell sounds and the bass is just right, they mix together very well. Also these strings are durable, they are light and fast, easy to play. Put this on your guitars, you won't be disappointed.

These strings are easy and light on your fingers. I had them on my Big Baby Taylor and the Big Baby sounded so bright with ringing and warm bass tones. The sound is just excellent. Try them, you won't be disappointed.
