I have loved these strings for several years. I have a little Chinese cutaway (Ventura) that I use for concerts. I accompany a vocal trio in a very eclectic set of material, so I'm fingerpicking, chunking jazz comp chords, flatpicking and strumming rock beats... and that's just the first four songs of the set! But these strings hold up well and are a good combination of light (easy to play) and not too light (don't bend out of shape when flatpicked). If you have a pretty good guitar, these strings will sound good on it.

I've tried every kind of D'Addario acoustic string they make and keep experiencing the same fatal flaw: they refuse to intonate at all! Like WAY off! And it's certainly not my Breedlove itself. Many other string brands, cheap/expensive, intonate perfectly. Only THIS brand fails to come close to a respectable level of decent intonation. It really doesn't make sense to me, this is an extremely popular and widely used brand. I love the price and the tone is fine but I just refuse to play a guitar that cannot be tuned correctly in every position on the fretboard. So I'll go back to the wonderful DR Sunbeams for an extra couple beans per pack.

Comments about D'Addario EJ2610-P 10-Pack Custom Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I've played guitar for 50 years on and off stage. Currently I play for pleasure and an occasional gig. Since I don't play gigs every week I like to use a string that I can play daily that will hold it's tone and last for a few weeks. These seem to fit that bill.

These strings sound great on my Guild D-55 and they last and last. I have very little breakage even though I use a variety of tunings. The price is right and the ten pack makes that even better.

Comments about D'Addario EJ2610-P 10-Pack Custom Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I have been a user of D'Addario electric strings for about a decade now. They are consistently good. The packaging of ten sets for this price was extremely attractive and that actually determined this purchase. After a week of hard playing they still sound bright and for acoustic strings that is longevity. I generally change electric strings every two weeks and acoustic strings more often. I am pretty sure I can get two weeks out of these with full-time playing.

I've used D'Adarrios for my electric guitars for years and have felt they did a great job. I've always used another brand on my acoustic. When I saw the sale offered by Musician's Friend I bought a 10-pak. I have them on two of my guitars and I'm very pleased.
