Comments about D'Addario EXL110-7 Lite 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

Been using these for 10 years ... my first set of strings were the Slinkys and I went through 3 sets in 2 months ... and when you 15 its kinda tough getting your folks to buy rock n roll strings. bought these and never had problems with em ever .. and now touring on a newby band budget these strings rule same ole formula as it was 10 years ago . these things will take an entire summer of sweat squeals bends uppicking and what ever crud you can put on these ... So for all you beginners still tryin to jam on your Rants Wallet ..buy these ..6 Stringers .. use all but the smallest string ... promise these will never break .. if they do your doing something wrong

Comments about D'Addario EXL110-7 Lite 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

Thanks to musicians friend for the fast shipping ...
Been using daddario strings for about 15 years now (maybe longer) - they are always reliable - so moving to the 7 string set was a no-brainer ...

7 string D Addario are great strings!

Comments about D'Addario EXL110-7 Lite 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

Well I have been playing these string for years. They seem to hold up pretty well for heavy music. They record well under the microphones. Intonation is great. They stay in tune longer. They did change the bottom string from a 56 to a 59. I think this Idea is better. There is just that extra balls to the Chunck grind. People intonate your instruments with a quality repair guitar facility.

      Great Strings

      By IRONBED

      from Pac NW

Comments about D'Addario EXL110-7 Lite 7-String Electric Guitar Strings:

I have 2 guitars: A Les Paul for standard tuning and drop D, and an Ibanez RG for lower tunings (C and B).I use these strings for my RG and leave out the 17. Works good for me because a plain string in the 3rd spot always sounds "twangy" to me and having a wound string in its spot softens it. Having the 10 and 13 for the highs keep it flexible enough to bend solo notes. The 59 is nice and thick to keep it in low tune. I was torn between these and the Ernie Ball 7 string slinky, but went with these because EB's lowest string is a 56.
