D'Add strings have always been the mainstay with me, & I've got the "players points" stools, mugs, pens, shirts, caps, etc. to prove it.
I had used XL120's forever & a day. Over the years I "thinned my herd" & switched brands of strings as my main gtr seemed to like another brand better. I'd been buying XL120's for my students as the majority of their gtrs were set up for 10's. Awhile back I was able to keep a Larrivee RS-4 for a couple of months, & though I'm a 9's guy, it played great with '10's. Come time to change strings, I grabbed a set of my students' XL110's, put 'em on, & WOW. The RS-4 suddenly became faster, more supple, VERY comfortable while the 12th fret vs. harmonics remained SAME, & the gtr continued to sound great. And just to confirm the difference, I tried Elixir & Cleartone (which I think are what come on RS-4's from the factory), & sorry, but the XL110's were the RIGHT call for the RS-4, in my opinion anyway.
Yep, D'Add brings forth great strings.
I rated this way because in the days I bought many XL120's, maybe 10-20 sets a a time, I'd occasionally get for example 2 'B' strings & no 'G'. This wasn't an issue for me then, but I got to thinking about some kid who goes to his/her local music store, pays possible retail or close & discovers a problem like that. So if bringing this up again helps keep D'Add on top of their game, all the better.
Best bang for the buck.

First off, I'd just like to say that I don't rock the whammy bar extensively and I don't do huge bends all the time. I am not an extreme player and within the first week, my high E string had already broken. I must admit that they do sound good although they have this weird sound on the clean channel. They are just very easy to break.

Comments about D'Addario EXL110 Nickel Light Electric Guitar Strings 3-Pack:
I have been a long time Ernie Ball Slinky user, but tried these out because of price and good reviews. So far, I like them just as much or more than EB's. They sound great on my Tele and Strat. I pay almost as much for one set at local shop, so these are a great deal with free shipping.

Comments about D'Addario EXL110 Nickel Light Electric Guitar Strings 3-Pack:
I have been using this brand of strings for about 10 years or so now. I Love their tone in the ten-gauge strings: And have used them for Recording, Gigging, Practice, Etc.
They sound great on my Fenders and Les Pauls. Their pretty strong and do not break easily. And by buying them in 3-packs you can save money: Great Value!

Comments about D'Addario EXL110 Nickel Light Electric Guitar Strings 3-Pack:
I have tried many different stings, and i keep coming back the the EXL110's. To me they are the stings which others are measured against. The biggest thing i notice with other stings is that within a hour or two of use the B and G stings on the 2nd fret will have already tarnished or the plating is wore away from frequent chording. With the EXL110's days go by before this happens. They sound great and can cover all music genre's. They are inexpensive as a single pack, but even better in a 3 pack.
