I use these exclusively on my Taylor T5 and they do a great job. I didn't like acoustic bronze strings on it because of the increased tension, and regular electrics had too much timbre change between wound & unwound strings for my taste. These fit the best of both words. Tension is soft enough to bend 1/2 to whole step, but hard enough to strum well without abrupt sound change. They stay in tune really well, and don't have breakage problems. I also recommend D'addario Bronze for your acoustic and the Balanced Tension for your electric. D'addarios are all I've used for the past 10 years - they make great strings.
The only caveat I can give is that you MAY have to widen the g-string slot in your nut to accommodate the slightly thicker string and keep it from binding...

I went into a brief period of wanting to experiment with strings, and these sounded like they might be good. When I first put them on they were pretty good, nice feel and tone and the wound 3rd string was ok. But they last about half as long as the strings I usually use, and lose a lot of spring really quickly. Personally I think Ernie balls are still where its at.

Nickel wound strings on my acoustic with a soundhole pickup. Even response when amped. I like 'em

I like these strings for their tone, their price and the wound G. I'd prefer a pure nickel wrap rather than nickel plate but they do their job.

The wound strings are rather bright when new but this tones down with use so gives them a reasonably long life between changes.

I have played almost exclusivley Ernie Ball strings for 13 years. I started building my own guitars and wanted to maximize the potential of their sound. On recommendation of a good friend I tried these after using the EB Colbalts. WOW! Amazing sound! Almost like a blanket had been lifted from my guitars! So much clarity (a must for D#/C#) and bottom end with pleasing midrange! If you have any doubts, buy a pack and see for yourself!
