        Got these for my daughter and tried them out myself. Took a few minutes to get used to but made the transition from using a pick to finger picking very easy, no fumbling with a pick or dropping it. I still prefer a standard pick but can see where these would be great for certain arrangements.
        All they had was large, worked for me, I cut some and resized them with a heat gun to give my daughter a custom fit.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        D'Andrea Thumbpicks - Balanced tone for fingerpicking

        Comments about D'Andrea Thumb Picks One Dozen:

        I believe these thumbpicks are a bit softer material which accounts for the more comfortable fit and the tone balances well for fingerpicking style.
        I play bluesharp in a neck rack with a Strnad harmonica mic with either my Epiphone EL00 acoustic or a 1956 Gibson archtop and use these picks exclusively be it alternating baselines when fingerpicking or picking/strumming when I want a bit more attack than using the finger(s).
        No actual features to comment on. I like the appearance and fit. I do not have very large hands, but these picks are more comfortable than the large Dunlops that I had used previously.
        Quality seems very good.
        Price is good.

        Great product. Too small for a man's thumb. Good price.
        Nice enough picks. Way too small for my thumbs, and I have small hands for a man. For a woman or a kid they might work, but not for me. The plastic is very rigid. No flexibility to open them up a little more. They feel like they're going to snap. I maybe could heat the plastic and try that. That might work. They should make an extra-large size, but they don't.
