I love these strings. They are amazing for Floyd Rose guitars and allow me to really abuse my trem. The custom gauge is also perfect for players (like myself) who tune down to Drop C and C# and still have the lighter top strings for lead playing. The heavier low end allows you to really dig in and get aggressive with your rhythm playing, which is perfect for heavy metal and metalcore. To the best of my knowledge DR are the only ones who make a gauge like this (most hybrid gauges are 9-46), so I don't know what I would do if they stopped making these.
Not much to talk about here. They are guitar strings. You put them on a guitar and play them.
These things last forever! They stay bright and responsive, even with tons of playing. They also resist corrosion extremely well, so even if you slap them on and store it for awhile it should be good to go. Honestly, I can count on one hand how many times I've broken a string with these bad boys, and I abuse the hell out of my floyd. Dimebag harmonic divebombs and pull ups? DONE. I can see why he endorsed them suckers.
You get alot for your money with these guys. They last longer, so you are spending less time AND money changing them.

Ive been playing for years, I tried DR back in 2001 and I kept breaking the A string. A few weeks ago the these strings were highly recomended them to me cause I play in drop-c. Dimebag was an amazing guitarist but just cause he is on the cover of the package dosen't mean they are great like he was, you will do nothing but snap strings like its cool. This time its the high-E, I just put another set on last night and sure enough, a half an hour into playing the high-E snapped again. Sorry DR your strings will never be on my Gibson SG ever again.

worst strings I ever came across. The high E and B string snapped 10 minutes after playing. I also got a floyd rose. Now because of these strings I have to get another setup beacuse the bridge is out of place. thanks to these garbage strings!!!!!

These strings sound and feel great. Can pull some great harmonics with them. The only problem I had was that after a few weeks of playing some strings will snap on me with a simple stroke of the pic. So in order to feel confident at a gig I'de have to use new strings every time. I play lead guitar quite aggressively I should add, with divebombs and the dimebag squeals with the floyd rose. But whenever they break its usually when I'm not playing aggressively, just from a simple, non-violent stroke of the pic. Acidic sweat maybe? who knows.. overall good strings, just not durable enough for the way I play I guess.

I've been using these strings for about two years now, and I've used all sorts of other strings. These are the best strings I've ever found, and at a fantastic price point! Despite brotha' Dime's picture on the front, these strings are fantastic for more than just metal. I play blues, rock, and metal, and these strings are perfect for everything. I would replace my strings every week or two because they'd tarnish, but these strings are slightly coated, but don't sound like it. These strings are good for months, although I still change them because it's fun.

I cant say enough good things about the 10-52 guage for C# tuning, they get kinda Spongy and you really feel it. The high end sound is amazing, very bright but warm, Mid Range is tighter sounding not thin or thick, low end is amazing, nuff said. I have 2 other guitars that use the 9-46 guage and they are just as great sounding and playing. If you hate when your left hand cant get comfortable with strings ( Even after trying every other big name brands ) or can not keep from cramping or straining the left hand, THESE HELP. I use no other strings but these. These are Great Strings.

I play in a dance band, everything from big-band swing to funk. Don't let the cover art on these strings throw you off like it did me... I thought they were for metal players. They do it all, better than any I've tried. The coating is so subtle, you don't feel it, yet the strings keep that new-string tone far, far longer than regular strings. They really do stay in tune better, perhaps because they don't bind in the nut slots like regular strings. Even the guage is perfect for all the things I do, from bending to fingerpicking. Playing for 40+ years, I've tried most of the strings out there: the handmades, stainless steel, compressed, boutique and European strings. These just feel great, sound better, last longer, and save me money. I very highly recommend you try these.

These strings are amazing. The sound quality is phenomenal; piercing highs and warm (blended) lows. If you have a guitar with high action, put these on and your action will get lower and not buzz.If you play a broad range of stuff, you'll love these. Very versatile, they can handle ANY style of music.Highly Recommended.

I've been playing a long time and tried a lot of strings. These are the best I have used. I broke a lot of other strings and they tarnish quickly as I sweat a lot. These sound and play great, stay in tune and last a long time.
