I?ve been using towels and stacked paperbacks on my work table when stringing and setting up my guitars. Using the neck cradle on top of some tool cabinet drawer liner has provided an extremely stable workstation. I can?t think of a guitar this setup won?t work with except for a double-neck guitar. Then you just get two cradles.Right side up or upside down, the self-aligning cradle provides full support to the neck. This unit is well worth the nominal investment.

I don't know how I got by for so long without the Dunlop Formula 65 Neck Cradle. This puts an end to fussing around with your guitar while trying to do anything from string changes to setup to repair.The cradle works well with all of my guitars - Les Paul, Strat, 6 and 12-string acoustics, and classical. I've used it for string changes, truss rod adjustment, intonation adjustment, replacing parts (tuning machines, saddles, etc), polishing, etc.
