I have been using Dunlop 65 Polish & Cleaner for about a year now and it's the best product of its kind I have found. I have a Washburn D10SB guitar with a jet black finish. I play it everyday and I love it, but it shows every little fingerprint, so I use Dunlop 65 Polish & Cleaner everyday, sometimes more than once. It keeps my guitar looking like the day I bought it, shiny and clean. I have never had the product smear or streak. I bought some micro cleaning cloths, I think they are made of cotton and are very, very soft. I use them with Dunlop 65 Polish & Cleaner and they do a great job of keeping your guitar looking like new. So get some Dunlop 65 Polish and soft rags (micro cloths if you can find them) and you will be very pleased with the outcome. I keep several bottles on hand and one in my guitar case at all times. I believe in this stuff and you will too once you see the fine job it does on your guitar, new or old. Order several bottles at once, it will save on S&H because one is not enough!!! You spent hard earned money on your guitar, so why not use the best polish-cleaner to take care of it...Dunlop Formula 65 it's just the BEST.

This stuff does give a very nice shine. I wrote to the Dunlop company to ask if it contains silicon and they wrote back saying: "Yes, Formula 65 does contain a very small amount of silicone. The overall amount is less than 2% of the overall content. If you are going to use the product, please be advised of the following: If there are any cracks, chips and or checking do not spray the polish directly on the finish. Doing so will cause the polish to get under the finish."This info should of been on the label. I don't want to use it now. I've tried to finish guitars that have been polished with silicon in the wax and it's too much trouble to get the paint to stick.

The only cleaner I use in my shop here at Easthampton Instrument Repair & Sound in Easthampton MA... I've used many, but this one penetrates and deep cleans... used with a micro-mesh cloth, you can really get the best shine an instrument has to offer...

I have been using Dunlop 65 for 8 or 9 years now and wouldn't use anything else. I've tried other polishes and they just didn't do a very good job. I found the best application for it to be sprayed on a soft brass instrument polishing cloth. It also does a great job on fret boards and strings.

Overall I give it a 1. I can't justify anything higher and I'd go into the negatives if I could. I bought this product to "clean" my guitars up and as it puts it... "restores it to the original luster" and it didn't deliver.
It smelled nice, but thats about all I can say. It was virtually incapable of even removing prints that I just put there.
Again, it was a disappointment.

This is the only cleaning product I use on all of my guitars. It keeps my guitars clean and shiny, almost to the point where I feel guilty messing up the shine on my new-looking guitar. Only problem that I've ever had is that I keep losing the cap.

Cleans and polishes in one step. Can use it on the fretboard, headstock, body... any part that is wood! Easy to use and looks great. If you don't own anything else that comes in a bottle for your instrument, own this!

I am a very active musician. My band gets a lot of gigs and I want to make sure that my bass guitars look good. I primarily play a fender p-bass and a gibson thunderbird, and I have to say this stuff really makes them look like new! I use it before every gig and it works like a charm!

I have just purchased a bottle of this stuff. I didn't know what to expect from it because I had never even heard any one talking about it. I just got a vintage gibson and it had not been cleaned in a while....I rubbed it on and it had it looking new. I could even see my own reflection in the finish. I would highly recommend this product! Great Value!

I bought this a few days ago, and it's pretty da*n good! I was looking for the gibson polish but a guy at the store said this was the best they had. Don't hesitate! pick up a bottle, or you'll regret it!
