Got these strings free months ago...recently I got a new LP and was thinking whether i would keep it.. It had very old strings on it and sounded very trebly and thin!! so i figured i would use the freebies rather than my standard 10's D'Addario's. I did a setup, adjusted the neck, string height, intonation...and replaced the strings with these Dunlops...and I must tell you that these strings sound great. This LP had a very bright character and these strings added lots of low end punch. I am going to try these on my strat and my other LP.....they seem very nice!!

I have always been a Ernie Ball guy. Then I noticed over the past year or so that they changed their packaging and was getting corroded strings right out of the package! I saw an add for these strings and decided to give them a try.The first 12 or so sets that I purchased last year were superb! Sound quality was very Ernie Ball like and even better. They felt extra smooth, responsive, and bent very easily. On top of this the packaging was outstanding. Each string was individually packaged and then the strings themselves were sealed in a plastic bag complete with a small bag of moisture robbing desecant! In addition to all of this their price was slighty less then that of other strings in the same class.However, over the past 6 mos. or so the sets I purchased although still packaged well and sounding great didn't last long at all. I think I went through at least six sets that wouldn't last longer then a week or so, and were breaking horribly on ALL of my guitars and rarely staying in tune for long as well before they broke. I've returned to EB...

When and if you ever need a beefy tone, then look no further than these strings. They didn't allow me to get the sound I wanted (because the strings added so much beef on their own), but they did have a quality sound and good feel nonetheless.

Ive been using Ernie ball regular slinky for years until i saw a youtube video talking about these convinced me to try them. the packaging is so great i felt like i was opening a christmas present. these strings felt different from the regular slinkys, cause they were thinner and broke in right away. normally it would take days on the regular slinkys to strecth them and would leave my fingers in pain, with these i just stretched them twice and they were good. after 3 hours i came back to playing them and they felt great and a lot thinner, and i was able to bend a lot better. so far after 10 hours ive had them, im happy with them.

Got a free pack of these so I decided to test them outThere ok, not great but not bad.The low end is a bit too low for my liking and they have a long break-in period. overall 5/10Deffinately not going to BUY these.

A salesman from GC gave 2 packs to me as promo items and did not really thought much about them. My Strat's high E string broke and I used the Dunlops and I was blown away by the clarity, bite, and focus of the 2 lower strings. Fender Super Bullets are great for Fender guitars but the Dunlop strings brings out a new animal in my Strat. The 2 lower strings on Super Bullets are accentuated and muddy while the Dunlops are more balanced with the the other strings. It chimes,bites,spanks and growls. A real affordable surprise!!!

I've been on a constant search for a really good set of strings for general purpose practice/performance use on my Godin xtSA.I had been using D'Addario EXL110's and they are very good strings but also very bright. I tend to like a more warm and bluesy sound.The Dunlop strings were on sale so I bought a box of six sets and these strings are great.They won't replace my Thomastik Blues Sliders for very important performances but at $5/set for the Dunlop strings vs $16/set for the Thomastik strings I think the Dunlop strings are an excellent value.

I've been using these strings for 6 months now and i love them. The first string change i did on my rg. i fell in love they just felt so great even when i wasnt playing they felt great just to hold. i reccommend everyone get these strings they r the best especially for the price

I got a set of these through a package I won through Dunlop. The sound a feel great, much like Ernie Ball Slinkys, but better in the sense that they are spongy. My only complaint is they only stayed fresh around two weeks, and I don't play everyday. Not for me, but might be for others.
