These picks are the best in every way. The tone is so good you won't believe that a pick can actually affect your sound this much. It takes a little getting used to the size at first but then they become like part of your hand - seamless, effortless picking. It's hard to describe what they do for your tone besides making it fuller, warmer and more articulate. There's a reason Eric Johnson uses these things. They're simply the best I've ever found in 30+ years of playing. I used to use Tortex or derlin .88mm or 1mm picks and score them with a razor blade for grip then file them to a point to give me beter articulation and sharper attack, but these lil buggers really upped the game. They stay in your grip easily and don't move even if you sweat a lot. The tip slips off of the strings like buttah! Give these lil marvels a try, whatta ya got to lose? Triplet picking at 220 BPM? Got that.

These picks are of very good quality, they're a stiff nylon which gives me the sound I desire but.....they are for people with very small thumbs and fingers. I've given these to an 11 y/o girl of slight build so they haven't gone to waste. If you have normal size hands, I'd ensure you get a larger size.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Jazz III Guitar Picks 6-Pack:

I'm 65yrs old and have problems holding the pick. This is smaller and gives me more control wíth the grip part keeping the pick from turning between my thumb and finger.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Jazz III Guitar Picks 6-Pack:

I buy the black and red versions of this pick. Although they are made of different materials, with my style of mandolin playing (picking/strumming/chopping) I don't detect a difference. I would recommend that the red pick stands out more, and I tend to not lose them as easily as the black ones.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Jazz III Guitar Picks 6-Pack:

I have been using these picks, well the older model for 25 years. Started playing in punk, then death metal bands and for the fast riffs these seem to be perfect. Don't play much metal anymore, but still use the same pick. Now the jazz III picks come with grip, even better!

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Max Grip Jazz III Guitar Picks 6-Pack:

Basically these are Jazz III's with a "cat's tongue" grip. It works, they are much easier for me to hold on to than standard Jazz III's. I believe that a good grip can make a small pick seem larger and a large pick seem smaller simply because of the superior control. I wish Dunlop would make the Eric Johnson model with this grip, that would be perfect!
