Warm and rich tone with a quick break-in time.

Every set of Dunlop acoustic guitar strings delivers brilliant and rich tone for a dynamic and expressive acoustic experience. The finest wire combined with precise construction produce versatile replacement strings durable enough to withstand hard strumming--and responsive enough for delicate fingerpicking. Chords ring out with great clarity, bass notes growl, and harmonics pop and sing. Dunlop's formula creates strings that are exceptionally long-lived, they break-in fast and stay bright so you can spend more time playing and less time changing your strings.

Comments about Dunlop Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

A few years ago I hopped onto the dunlop string bandwagon after years with Ernie Ball. Honestly Dunlop strings are all you ever need unless you use flatwounds but as i say that im sure they will come out with those as well haha. These strings are crystal clear and very well balanced tone wise. They last forever if you need them too and break in very quickly.

Comments about Dunlop Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Was shocked at these strings. Out of the bag they have nice tone. Doesn't take long to break them in. Can't say much about durability as I've only had them for a week, but a great first impression! Dunlop may be onto something....

Comments about Dunlop Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I have used D'Addario EJ-16's for years and tried these on a whim as I have always trusted Dunlop products. I wasn't disappointed either. At first I wasn't sure I was going to like these strings. When I first played them they kind of sounded reserved or muted. But the more I played them, the more they grew on me. One thing I liked was how fast they broke in. I mean, real fast! They hold their tuning nicely and have lasted as long as my trusted EJ-16's. Price wise, I still get a better deal buying the EJ's 10 pack. I am stringing 4 of my own acoustic's plus 2 Grandson's are taking lessons from me and I am stringing theirs also. So I go through a lot of strings. If they were to be more competitive price wise these would definitely be my second choice. Great strings and another great product from Dunlop.

Good strings, but not my favorites. Nothing to do with quality, just my personal sound preferences.

            Great Strings

Comments about Dunlop Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I honestly didn't expect much from these strings. I thought I had tried enough different brands to be confident that I found the right brand for me. I had got a free set of these Dunlop strings when I bought a replacement capo and I expected to save them for an emergency. Well that emergency came at a gig a few weeks ago so the past week I have been using these strings. They are amazing. I usually dislike the brassyness of new strings. I prefer them after they have been broken in after a few days of playing. These Dunlop strings sound great right out of the box. They have a nice crisp/bright sound but with a mellowness that takes away the harshness that most new strings have. They really bring my Gibson to life. The only way I can describe it is of an earthy, natural tone. Just really great stings. I would recommend giving them a try. I really wanted nothing to do with them and they won me over.

So far so good. I have been playing them a little over a week without any problems. I played through a gig and they held up great. I usually change my strings every week or so depending on my schedule so I can't say much as far as the long haul. The break in pretty good tone wise.
About the same price as everything else

            Highly Recommended!

Comments about Dunlop Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I?ve been playing acoustic guitar for over ten years, and I recently wanted to try a different set of strings seeing as how I was bored with my regular ones. The guy at the counter suggested that I try Dunlops because he used them and liked them enough. I figured I love their picks and slides so I might as well try their strings. So I picked up a pair of lights and went home and put them on - oh man did they sound amazing! They made my old martin come alive, the brightness and clarity were surprising. They had a great feel to them and the definitions in the notes were crystal clear. I play everything from light finger picking to rocking strums, these strings could handle them all. I will definitely go back to them again when the time comes, but maybe I?ll try a heavier gauge. Highly recommended!

I have trusted Dunlop for years now and when I bought this item, i thought, great i get two good quality sets of strings for the price of one. haha, yeah right. when i was changing my strings, 4 of these strings broke. not one, not two. FOUR STRINGS! and in the second set, another two broke! I have always loved Dunlop's strings, but i think i'll try a few other companies before coming back to Dunlop. I don't no if its just these srings in paticular, but I'm not happy.
