This case IS the case with the Epiphone logo on the outside and not the big ugly E. It does fit the Sheraton headstock unlike most all other 335 type cases. It does also fit lefties and righties. Okay that out of the way. I rated it OK but not perfect, as the case latches are those ones with the lips that have to lign up or can be bent real easy. Not the end of the world but sucks when you are tired and just wanna go home. The case interior is really plush and nice. The outside is the higher quality Tolex that is smooth, not the cheap TKL junk. The case does keep the headstock elevated too as to prevent damage from dropping. Trust me when you get a case and the headstock of an angled headstock guitar touches it, don't use it!

This is a medium duty case at best. Fine for transporting your guitar to local jams and lessons.
But this case will not stand up to any kind of regular giging or touring for very long and wouldn't last one flight on an airline. If you transport your instrument on more than an occasional basis there are much better choices. I am pretty sure I would wear this case out in a matter of months. If you are a performing professional pass on this case & invest in something more roadworthy.

Comments about Epiphone 335 Hardshell Guitar Case:

Extremely happy with the quality of this case. Just bought it a month ago so far I love it. Hope to update this post after I have had it for a while.
I purchased the Epiphone 335 case with my Epi Limited edition Riviera P93. This is a very nice case. The outer shell of this hard shell case is leather like but hard to the tough very high quality Tolex that is smooth. I think it will last many years of gigging. There are many things that impress me about this case in addition to the outer Tolex. My Epi P93 fits perfectly in it, the body fits nice and tight the top when closed holds it firmly in place, not to tight but tight enough to hold it in place (no flopping around). Another great feature is that in addition to the three very good quality latches on the opening side and there are two additional latches on the hindged side a good feature cause we all know that sometimes hinges break. The handle is not a cheep plastic thing it is sturdy but yet feels soft like leather. The interior is plush and I especially like the charcoal color. There is a closeable compartment inside and room for a few extra sets of strings, capo, neck wrench, original purchase docs and the rest. With room for a strap and electric cord under the head. There are two quality crome footings on the bottom and two more on the hinged side a nice feature.
Very good quality, exceeded my expectations.
Excellent value, good deal, I would have expected to pay a lot more for a case of this quality.

Comments about Epiphone 335 Hardshell Guitar Case:

This case is such a loving cradle for my Dot, I don't know why I didn't get this long ago! An absolute perfect fit, super plush and a huge bonus: Lots of room! For a "fit" case, there is enough room to hold everything I take with me: a large leather strap, an old school Korg tuner, picks, capo, and extra strings. Beautiful shape and sturdy to boot. My 3 year old was so excited to see it arrive that he decided to see how it fared as a trampoline before I could stop him. I didn't even flinch.

Only Con: There is a small bubble under the leather at the tip of the raised feature.

Comments about Epiphone 335 Hardshell Guitar Case:

I read other reviews about problems fitting the Sheraton in other cases, so I bought this one. Yes, it fits. The Sheraton is a big guitar. I have had this case for 2 weeks with very light use and the hinges are already loose and you have to be careful to line up the latches correctly. Must be cardboard inside. If I decide to gig with this guitar I will get a case from SKB or another more reliable source. This was disappointing given the price.

Comments about Epiphone 335 Hardshell Guitar Case:

This case is an amazing case. It has a very soft, cushoined lining that I know will protect my instrument. I have a Kona ES355 and It fits it kind of tight. I have to gently push it down so that it will fit inside of the case. I dont mind this at all though because it makes it a perfect fit for my guitar so that I dont have to worry about it moving. It also has a huge storage compartment. I can fit in a extra set of strings, my tuner, and my capo and almost fit in my 10ft lead cord. The only thing I didnt like is that it only came with one case so I am scared to lock it for fear of losing the key. Overall a great case though and I would highly suggest buying it.

          Insurance for you investment

Comments about Epiphone 335 Hardshell Guitar Case:

I got a Dot a little over 6 month ago and I immediately order this case. I looked around at other cases and read reviews and the 335 Hardshell came out on top. I ordered it and it was quickly delivered. The fit for my Dot is like a glove. The plush interior hugs the guitar and there is no movement. Ample storage for what I carry: Strap, tuner, capo and slide neatly tucked away. While the inside looks really choosy, the outside is very durable. 5 latches insure it stays closed. One thing I noticed was that when I am carrying the case it is very balanced. I use the case 2 to 3 times a week and it has held up very well. I regard this case as insurance to protect my investment.

Comments about Epiphone 335 Hardshell Guitar Case:

My hopes for this case were met when it arrived. That, to me, is a fantastic experience. I would recommend this case for any 335-style guitar. I say that because if you're shelling out that much money on a guitar, I would shell out a considerable amount to protect that kind of investment, not to say that this case wouldn't do the job just as well, that's just a personal opinion...

You will not be unsatisfied with this case.
A no frills case. It's exactly what I was looking for, but nothing really stands out as special.
Nice plush interiorSolid exterior casingInterior compartmentAbility to lock the case
All pretty standard features of a guitar case.
So far so good. Last night I was leaving practice and it was raining incredibly hard. The exterior of the case got soaking wet, however, my guitar was dry as a bone. Also, my 3 year old daughter jumps on this case (w/out my guitar in it) all the time and I haven't had a problem yet. Very solid.
A no frills case, but for the price, an incredible value. You really feel like you're getting a very solid case for the price. I have complete confidence that my guitar is safe in this case.

Comments about Epiphone 335 Hardshell Guitar Case:

Local Music stores in my town charge at least 20% over list price when it comes to cases. A case like this would cost near two hundred dollars in my local music stores and gig bags do not protect my guitar like I want it protected. I purchased one of the Oscar Schmidt OE30 Guitars and let's face it, it is a copy of the Gibson 335. A good copy at that, so I bought this Epiphone 335 hardshell case to protect a Very Good Guitar!Guess what, it fits like a glove and like the OE30 it didn?t require me to sell a body organ on the black market to purchase it like my local music stores would require of me. Take my advice, buy this case if you want the best case for any amount of money to protect a Gibson, Epiphone or Oscar Schmidt guitar. The plush interior of this hard case holds my guitars body in a luxurious surrounding. So after polishing all the finger prints off of my pride and joy I can be absolutely sure that when I open the case back up my guitar will be in the best shape possible. I still cannot figure out how Musicians Friend can give me these rock bottom prices on such great gear but after shopping every other online or discount chain store I know I got the best deal possible. Thank you Musicians Friend for making me such great deals!

It's a case. It has a compartment for your stuff. It lets my Epiphone DOT sit secure while keeping the neck and headstock secure and out of harm's way.
Very good quality. Lets my Epiphone DOT sit comfortably while protecting the neck and headstock. The plush lining envelopes the instrument like a glove
When compared to the same style & quality case for other Epiphone guitars, it's a little pricey.

A gouge in the top of the case. Machine marks all over the top. Shoddy glue job. Strong chemical smell.
None of these problems are due to MF or UPS handling issues. The box seemed factory sealed from Epiphone in Nashville & shipped directly to MF. All packaging was undamaged.

This will protect my Sheraton II around the house but I would never use this for serious transport.

Overall this seems to be a very nice case. It's pleasant to look at and has a sturdy yet comfortable handle. The inside has a storage compartment with the grey "fuzzy carpet" that comes with most if not all the epi cases. If the case fit my Sheraton ii correctly it would be a fine deal. My guitar barley fits in the case, it's almost as if my guitar is too wide. I would have definitely returned the case had it not come the day before I had to ship my guitar out. Let's hope that not all of these cases are an ill fit.

Does not fit the Epiphone Dot

I bought this for my Epiphone Dot. My guitar (which hasn't been modified at all) did not fit in the case. The case gave no support to the back of the guitar, the guitar stuck out more than .5 inches above the top, and when the cover was put down, it puts pressure on the strings. I don't know about other styles, but I definitely would not buy this for the Dot.

I have the Epiphone Tom Delonge guitar and i got this case for it. It fits perfectly. It has the name "epiphone" on the case instead of the "e" logo as shown, which was no big deal, just an fyi. Very sturdy and strong case with 5 latches and one that you can lock with a key included.
