What You are Buying:

Nylon guitar strings, for an acoustic guitar. This means the strings have a ball/plug on the end so they can be strung easily on an acoustic guitar (opposed to normal nylon strings that have nothing on both end and are fit for classical guitars). Also, because these are made for an acoustic guitar, the strings are small enough to fit in the nut and grooves of normal acoustic guitars.

The sound quality is great, the strings all feel very low tensioned but dont lose out on tone. The high E string feels much more tensioned than the others, but still normal. I will buy another set of these again, and again.

I haven't had them on for too long, or given them a proper beat down, but if they hold up to the stress they will easily be my new favorite strings.

They stretch and stretch and stretch and

They would be ok if they stayed in tune. I expected them to stretch a little when new, but after two weeks, they still won't stay in tune.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2069 Earthwood 80/20 Bronze Folk Nylon Ball End Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Anything with the Ernie Ball name on it is usually pretty good but I tried these strings and a week later am still tuneing them in, and I don't mean just a little adjustment eithor. After a week I took them off and put on La Bella strings and by evening was done tuneing. Sorry E B won't use your acostic strings again. Think your bass strings are the best but not these nylons.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2069 Earthwood 80/20 Bronze Folk Nylon Ball End Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I used these strings to convert a standard acoustic guitar someone gave to a classic guitar. Because of the bridge style I need the ball ends. These strings did the trick. It sounds like a classical guitar but has a smaller easier to play necks.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2069 Earthwood 80/20 Bronze Folk Nylon Ball End Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I plan to give these strings a little more time to see if the will stay in tune
At this point the jury is out on these strings. I can't seem to keep them in tune. I purposely tune them sharp in hopes they will guit streching, But within an hour they are flat.
The quality seem OK but keeping them tuned is a real problem
These strings would be a great value if they would stay tuned

Comments about Ernie Ball 2069 Earthwood 80/20 Bronze Folk Nylon Ball End Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I ordered these by mistake, and should have returned them once I saw that the highest 3 strings are 100% nylon. I didn't keep the record of my order so I'm not sure if it was my mistake or MF's. I definitely would not recommend these. Definitely not what I had in mind.

I put these on a standard acoustic electric cut away, and was impressed with the tone. They require frequent tuning, but are worth it.
