Nuthin' Like Ernie Ball Strings

Comments about Ernie Ball 2233 Nickel 12-String Light Electric Guitar Strings:

Like I say, I've used nothing but Slinkys, on my six and 12-strings since about 1970 with NO complaints. They hold pitch after a gig of bending them like the dickens. Wipe the off frequently and they'll last and last, like for those whom like to occasionally "flog" their axe just for their "own amazement" anymore.
Used Ernie Balls on 99.5% of the gigs that I've played since about 1970. Wha's zat tell you?
Hold pitch in ALL kinds of environments. From rainy, outside festivals to smokey dives, there's VERY little loss in pitch.
You get nearly 100% value for your money with "Slinkys"-ALL sizes!

Best I have found!

Comments about Ernie Ball 2233 Nickel 12-String Light Electric Guitar Strings:

See above.
I play a 12/6 1982 Ibanez Studio. The 6 gets the usual EB slinky regulars. I have tried EB slinky 12's, and didn't care for them. They were stiff and too jangly of a tone for my taste.

These EB light nickels for the electric 12 are perfect. And they last. It is a lot of personal preference, but I think the most important thing with elec 12 string axes is to get a gauge spectrum that works for your needs. Unfortunately, it is trial and error.
Superb. Haven't popped one yet, and I am quite rough on them.
9 bucks a pair is a steal.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2233 Nickel 12-String Light Electric Guitar Strings:

I have been using these great strings since the 70's and they have never let me down, excpt for the enevitable broken string. The quality is always top notch and the tone is always sweet. I tried other strings but these really rock...HARD!!!

Comments about Ernie Ball 2233 Nickel 12-String Light Electric Guitar Strings:

Since they are of the few that still make sets for 12 strings. Not much to compare to. But they get the job done. Should use some wound 18's to save the frets a bit.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2233 Nickel 12-String Light Electric Guitar Strings:

"66" Rick 330-12 string. Tried Thomastic 10 flats. High quility but too stiff. Liked the Ric strings too which were also 10's but as an old man wanted to find a guage as light as would would work well. Went to Ernie Ball 008's. Man the Rick would fly but just too thin. Got the Sitar effect. Moved up to Ernie 009's. No sitar effect. I'm gonna stat here for a while.

Stringing any 12 string rick is not fun so you don't want to do this a lot. The sound is very nice and I hope they last.
