Perfect for Telecaster! Tames the shrill metallic fizz that nickel wrap are known for. Pure nickel sustain smoothly with enough top end chime to project that classic tele sound. I use 10-46 on telecasters, 9-42 & 8-38 on PRS guitars. I find different gauges offer a different feel and sound which gives me more options and solves the problem of which gauge to use. For some reason all guitars-pickups-amps respond differently to strings in my opinion. But of course this is just my rational thought as I've done enough experimenting to find what works for me. After way to much money being lost and enough brand names to compile a short novel has led me to EB pure nickels. At this time my heart has come closer to becoming more pure! That being said maybe St. Peter will put in a good word to see I'm trying & willing to behave more purely. Bottom line put on some pure nickel's and experience what being pure is all about.

LOVE EM!!!
My favorite electric strings. Nothing like nickle for Classic Rock, Blues and Country tone. I especially love these for all my single coil and P-90 guitars. They slightly round out some of that single coil spikey-ness. I'll use the Earnie Ball Nickle Warpped for my humbucker guitars which give you great classic tone with a touch more high end than the pure nickles. They are durable and playing feel is great too.
They are durable and playing feel is great too.

I bought these strings to put on a squire bullet. Immediately noticed a difference for the better. I really like the sound. Thinking about tryng them on my other guitar. I know the bullet will get these from now on.
Pure nickel 2251
pricey

They are fantastic strings highly reccomend, its all in the name Rock n Roll Slinkys.
Just put the strings on my vintage fender mustang, they are great strings. The nickel is much easier on the hands than the material of the regular slinkys.
Comments about Ernie Ball 2251 Pure Nickel Slinky Electric Guitar Strings:
These are great strings that don't leave anything to be desired but better value. They sound the same as the Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221 and costs a little more because they're "Classic" and give a vintage tone. Still great but could be better value.
Not a lot of features besides they are easy to play on.
These have yet to break after a month of heaving bends and solos that can tear up a guitar's neck. Not very different from the Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221.
I have not heard a significant difference between these and the Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221. The 2221 is cheaper and you can buy in larger quantities for less money.

Dependable strings with a nice feel
Comments about Ernie Ball 2251 Pure Nickel Slinky Electric Guitar Strings:
I never normaly use Slinky strings. I have been using Dean Markley Blue Steels for years now. Blue steels are super bright and have a great attack. But on my Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Pro, blue steels sounded too thin. So I put a pack of these on today and WHAMM!! Instant "pure" tone! These go with my LP like peas and carrots. These will be all I'll buy from now on for my Les Paul. Try out a pack and you'll be hooked too!
Comments about Ernie Ball 2251 Pure Nickel Slinky Electric Guitar Strings:
I love these strings! I moved to Ernie Balls a few yrs back..and finally made it to Nickel around the same time. There's just no going back to "regular" strings after you go to Nickel. I gig constantly and change my strings every 5-7 shows...I used to change every 3 shows. The strings play great...the tone is smooth and warm...it really adds something to my Tele and to my Firebird through a Vox AC30..its pure pure heaven to play. The strings last...and they sound GREAT. I will never buy another kind.
Comments about Ernie Ball 2251 Pure Nickel Slinky Electric Guitar Strings:
For several years I have tried a lot of different strings on my vintage 1980's mahogonoy Harmony Marquis. Some strings were priced much higher and some less but I never found the sound or feel I was looking for. That is until now. These strings are exactly what I have been looking for. They really show off this guitar and it's vintage dimarzio humbucker pickups. These are definitely the only strings I will use on this guitar from now own. Looking forward to recording with these tonite! What a remarkable difference in sound and feel!
