    Comments about Ernie Ball 2409 Ernesto Palla Nylon Ball End Classical Acoustic Guitar Strings:

    I'm using these strings on a parlor sized classic guitar that I bought many years ago just for practicing. I like not having to tie them on. They sound great and were less than half the price of many other string sets.

    Comments about Ernie Ball 2409 Ernesto Palla Nylon Ball End Classical Acoustic Guitar Strings:

    One of my students plays my classical guitar during practice and loves the sound of classical strings. He asked me to change over his old 3/4 guitar that didn't fret well with metal acoustic strings. I had ordered a pair of these in clear color in the past and have enjoyed the sound an endurance of these strings. My students guitar had a black pick guard so I picked these black strings to match the pick guard. Boy was I right. The cheap guitar played really bright and the color was captivating. I hated to give the guitar back to my student it played so well... I highly recommend for beginners and anyone wanting to switch over to nylon strings with a traditional western guitar... Order the clear for natural guitars and these blacks for sunburst or red, yellow or cherry burst or black colored guitars...

        I did not know they were for Acoustic strings. So being wired nylon they do not work with electric guitar. I am new at guitar and did not know.

            Comments about Ernie Ball 2409 Ernesto Palla Nylon Ball End Classical Acoustic Guitar Strings:

            First, the ball ends make these strings far easier to change. I don't get the purist aesthetic of nylon strings that you have to loop into the tailpiece - join the 21st century. I also haven't had the problems with breaking some other reviewers have had, but I don't play hard. These strings are best for non-classical lead players looking for the nylon sound. You can even use these strings on non-classical guitars. I use these to record latin ballroom music. The only down-side is they are quite stretchy, especially the top 3, and take a couple of weeks to stabilize and stay in tune. Make sure you have several loops of the string on the tuner and that you pinch the whisker of the string under all the loops or it can slip out. Otherwise, they are comfortable, sound great and once stretched out for a week or two, they stay in tune.

              Nice bottoms weak tops

              Comments about Ernie Ball 2409 Ernesto Palla Nylon Ball End Classical Acoustic Guitar Strings:

              Value = 3 out of 10
              The bottom 3 are nice, the G, B, and Hi E are weak
              Sustain on the G, B, hi E is less than other less expensive brands.
              The B is noticeably smaller than other brands of the same gauge.

              The only really good thing about them is that they stop stretching faster than my other choices,but that's not enough to make me want to ever buy them again.
