I put these on my Bronze Series Warlock tuned to E 3rd flat, and they had nice growling lows and med-extreme searing highs. Like the ropes on the rack these badboys will stetch, unstretch, and restretch without missing a beat. Sound great clean or distorted. I recomend them highly.
These are proof that you get what you pay for doesn't always hold true. These are the greatest strings in sound out there for electric guitar. Well balanced as advertised and can stand up to some serious pickin with out breaking or starting to not hold tune for a long time. Get some.
Before these strings I was using the stock strings that came with my Les Paul...( And of course the first string broke as always). Then I ordered some Regular Slinkys, but the first string broke again. So then I ordered some Power Slinkeys...and Im still using the first two pairs on my Les Paul and my Yamaha Acoustic! I am really impressed with the quality of these strings and I would recommend them every time. Not only did they not break, but they have deep rich tone, but they are also totally shred-able also as well, great for classic rock and new age rock as well.
I play these strings for 2 reasons:1. I love playing loud rock n' roll music2. Sometimes I play in drop tuning. These strings are hardcore and play as tough as they look. Don't be fooled by the purple cover. They're strong and they produce a strong sound. You'll fall in love with these as soon as you spin them onto your guitar!
Ive used these strings on my Les Paul for over two years now and so far I've only had one mess up during a performance. But over all they have the best duriabilaty and best sound .
